It's an Android, right? Perhaps you can install the DuckDuckGo privacy app. It install like a VPN giving it a clear view of all data going out of your device. It wipes trackers and various telemetry to enhance your privacy. I've got it on my smartphone and the amount of stuff it blocks is huge.

Hehe, I read "tablet" so I assumed a drawing tablet (ilo sitelen) or something. But you may have meant a regular Android tablet device (ilo supa, flat device). Did you get it to work?

Adobes first introduction post on Bluesky was instantly bombarded with frastrated users complaining about their atrocious business model. Adobe got a taste of how the userbase feels about the company atm.

An issue with gatekeepers is that they often have a small following. Humans are weak to the feeling of power.

I suspect the people in the US don't understand how dictators become dictators. All it takes it for Trump to become one is to get a third term, rig elections in one way or another, and then a fourth term, then repeat. It's actually scarely easy.

Garrr @tenposuno.bsky.social · 28/01/2025

It's a regional change. People int he US will see the new name. Everyone else will see both names, old and new. Don't worry, this will lower the price of eggs, somehow. /s

I Just installed KDE Neon 6.2 and so far everything runs smoothly. Haven't had the change to run a game on it yet, but I want to try to install the proprietary Nvidia driver against KDE's recommendation. I know it can work, I've done it before. Here be 🐉 though.

What has your experience been with Plasma 6.x in comparison with Plasma 5.x?

100 1

Garrr @tenposuno.bsky.social · 25/01/2025

*I mean KDE Neon of course

000 0

Garrr @tenposuno.bsky.social · 25/01/2025

I then moved to kubuntu which still has Plasma 5.27 and I'm still using it. But you're at Plasma 6.3 now, perhaps things have gotten better for gaming.

Garrr @tenposuno.bsky.social · 25/01/2025

I used to have KDE back with Plasma 5.27. Then the big update happened to Plasma 6.0 and it really screwed my system up forcing me to reinstall a fresh copy. Then I had to manually add a service file to allow the machine to shut down, and various games acted weird under Wayland.

Hm, perhaps I should give KDE Neon another shot. I got an Nvidia GPU though.
