Can a @NotionHQ custom agent schedule a meeting for you directly in Slack—like a real human assistant? Heck Yea... Watch it 🤯

Notion just added Present Mode. Turn any doc into a slide deck with a few dividers ✨ No more exporting to Google Slides. Build your deck right where your notes already live. This is going to save folks so much time!

Nearly 5 years ago, Nat joined Optemization — and today I’m thrilled to share she’s been promoted to Founding COO. She’s the reason the important stuff actually gets done (and not left to my ADHD founder procrastination).

when @nikksharma tweeted "is notion consulting a thing?" — i wasn't randomly tagged. i'd been tweeting about Notion for months. hosting events. building in public. so when the opportunity showed up, people already associated me with it.

fun fact: originally, @ivanhzhao built Notion as a website builder, not a documentation tool!! 100+ million users concur 😉

wrapped up the first week of my 3mo solo trip and reflecting on being alone after 6 months of a hypersocial life in nyc. "alone" is so layered.

For Notion NY, 2024 was the best year yet. We hosted 12 events ranging from co-working aka Block Haus, AMAs with the OGs like Ben Lang and cool collabs with Readwise and Othership! We've got a great team of volunteers & ambassadors eager to make 2025 our biggest year yet 🤘

For my NYC weekly poker game, I figured out a way to automatically capture and integrate RSVPs (from Luma) and buy-ins (from Email via Venmo), so that tracking everything and paying people is a breeze. All thanks to Zapier 🙏

"Scheduled time zone change" is one of my favorite tiny but impactful features in SavvyCal. When traveling, my scheduling link adapts my availability to the timezone, so that I don't get meetings booked crazy early/late ✨

TGIM friends!! Let's get it. This week, I'm focused on three client projects at work. Mostly @attio CRM implementations 👀 Outside of work, I need to get all my ducks to spend a month in Buenos Aires starting Dec 17th! What about you?

TIL: You can link multiple emails with your Luma account! So many of the people that I invite have two or more accounts with different emails, so this will drastically reduce duplicate invitations and overall invitation spam 🫡

Tiny @notion.com Tip: Status property is the only property that can be shown in two different formats in a database view.

I love this thoughtful UI element in SavvyCal that probably prevents 100s of incorrectly scheduled meetings and reduces no-shows/rescheduling. When a user picks an odd scheduling time, a warning callout appears, prompting them to rethink their life choices 😂

The new database Layouts feature in Notion just got better!! You can now add a linked database view into the content of the page WITHOUT needing to use a template or the self-ref filter hack (ifykyk). This drastically simplifies complex project/task management use cases 💯

Found out that Clay — a tool that I remember as an Airtable look-alike I tried 6 years ago — has transformed into a powerhouse GTM enrichment software growing 10x YoY since 2022 🤯 Yesterday, I went to fireside chat where their growth marketing head Bruno dropped some interesting tidbits:
