Today's been an amazing day! Started going to the gym, then went out to eat, went for a long walk and then back home played some VR stuff, kayaking in faraway waters. Felt like I made the most of the day, had a lot of fun and enjoyed it all

And what left the biggest impression on me was the decorations, the way it was built. It was kinda similar to "Santa Maria della Conzecione dei Capucchini" in Rome. Everything was decorated with skeletons, and sometimes they would start moving and attack you

In case you're curious about the story of the 2nd of May here, we celebrate Daoiz and Velarde starting a revolt against the french occupation in 1808, led by Napoleon's brother. The statue photo is from yesterday since I happened to pass through the May 2nd square.

Haven't watched this season, or the previous one, but it's fun seeing these things all over the city center. This statue is a reference to the symbol of the city, a bear and a "madroño", which Google says is strawberry tree in English (???)
