For the foreseeable future, let's demand journalists don't ask Trump a single question about the future...only the most basic questions with objectively right/wrong answers to prove, unquestionably, how DUMB this man is. What is the Constitution? What are the three branches of government? etc.

The first week of the new regime was all it took to convert me…to the type of person who puts stickers on their laptop.

Can you even imagine the hell these people are enduring? 😢 Better question: Can Republicans? Of course not, because empathy is a few million miles outside of their comfort zone.

DJT doesn’t actually care about the things he’s EO-ing against, he just wants power. In the pursuit of that, he’s being played…as the puppet of Elon and the authors of Project 2025. But there’s nothing that would piss him off more than realizing he’s become the puppet. See the strategy here?

So this is the official strategy for the foreseeable future? Literally everything that goes wrong, without any idea of what’s actually caused it, blame DEI right off the bat? These guys are so damn predictable.

Given that Baron looks just like his father (🤮), is Melania as disgusted when she looks at him as she is when she looks at, stands near, walks next to, etc. her husband?

I wish for a world in which DJT and everyone around him, every Republican congressman, etc. who sells their soul just to be near him get some semblance of the karmic justice they deserve. I’m atheist so threats of them spending an eternity in hell just don’t do it for me.

Trump renaming the Gulf of Mexico will have the same effect as Musk renaming Twitter.

The second half of 2024 has just been about surviving for me, not thriving, due to a health issue. Sometimes making it through is the very best you can do. If you’re not celebrating the year in review, you’re not alone.

I discovered this week that I can no longer enjoy Gremlins because I care too deeply even for the fake animals and cannot stomach the humans’ apathy as the poor little Mogwai suffers when exposed to light and water 🤣/😢

I’m going to need Trump to just hurry up and get sick of Elon Musk already.

I watched a movie today that included the line, “Helping each other is, in fact, what makes us happy.” Quick googling tells me both #45 and Elon were taught to be bullies. Can you even imagine a world where they’d been taught to help others?

On my mind lately: We get a single, relatively short existence. Why do some of us work so diligently (and at the expense of others) to accumulate wealth and power that we can’t take with us when it’s over? They won’t even be remembered fondly, only with the disgust their actions deserve. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤔

I think I’d be a great stocking stuffer for the kids in your life (maybe some of the adults too) if I do say so myself.

As everyone here knows, Christians backing Trump is the epitome of hypocrisy…but my hypothesis isn’t that they were suddenly brainwashed but that they always, deep down, hated the love thy neighbor stuff and he simply offered them a free pass to stop acting like they lived by that code.

I 100% believe the reason our election went the way it did is because people who lack the critical thinking skills to recognize when they're being lied to and evaluate evidence have been lied to for decades (thanks, Rush Limbaugh 🙄).

Mental habits affect your happiness, relationships, how well you perform in sports and other areas, how much you achieve, and your ability to think accurately about the world around you.

The mental habits I learned/established when I was younger became harder to change as I got older because they became ingrained in my brain's wiring. Changing mental habits is so much easier when you're younger...if you recognize they need to be changed and know how to change them.

Only because I studied psychology and sport psychology, and because I've been exposed to resilience, academic strategies, etc. through my work, did I realize how many bad mental habits I've solidified in my brain because no one knew to teach me anything different when I was younger.
