Fevers are a psychoplastogen. The cytokine induction causes the same receptors that fuel psychedelic trips, 5-HT2A and 5-HT2C receptors, to fire. My theory is that this is a parasite defense mechanism and mushrooms are hormetic. If you are skillful, you can use fevers to do psychedelic therapy.

9/? Quantum mechanics forces an impossible choice. Bell's theorem shows we can't have VR + VD + locality. Kochen-Specker goes further: we can't even have VR + VD + NC. Even without spatial separation, even for a single particle, we must give something up.

Here's the crux: we want three things. (VR) Value Realism: measurement outcomes reveal pre-existing properties. (VD) Value Determinism: identical preparations give identical hidden variable states. (NC) Non-Contextuality: the value shown doesn't depend on what else you could have measured together.

But despite motivating the definition of a key aspect of what makes quantum mechanics "spooky", intriguing, it's not well-known and subtler to explain than its brother Bell.

Imagination can be seen as analogous to the absorber wave in the Transactional Interpretation of quantum mechanics. It is a dynamic that sets up an evolution of future boundary conditions of a system's evolution. Reality is forwards and backwards. Imagination tenses in the future subjunctive.

The balance is being able to be seen without second order consequences to relationships. Group therapy achieves this balance. It brings vulnerability between strangers, which augments the impact of revealing trauma. Not only being seen, but seen as not alone. Facilitators handle the stress load.

Family, friend, or partner dynamics are fragile to unskillful or un-facilitated expulsions. Ego defenses often root in close relationships, and even when not so, they project onto close relationships easily. This puts "normal" socialization at risk when introducing a factor of vulnerability quickly.
