Only on the darkest arctic nights can you encounter this Primordial Pokémon. It manifests as aurora and ice, gently towering over the pole's frigid denizens... ✨❄️🧊 (There are 12 kinds of Pokémon in this #art! Can you find 'em all? Some are well hidden. Have fun & don't give away answers! 💕)

Gigantic aurora Pokemon in a nostalgic nighttime dreamscape of ice and sparkling stars. There are 12 kinds of creatures in this illustration - some obvious, others well hidden. Can you find 'em all?

two bits of art i did for my co-writer's birthday! both of these scenes are from our fic, which you can read here: archiveofourown.org/works/646544... #homestuck #davejade #jadeharley #davestrider

Dave and Jade meeting at the bar of a club. Dave is leaning over the bar a little to talk to Jade, flirting with her. Jade is smiling a little, clearly interested. This is a scene from chapter 1 of the fic linked in the post.

Dave Strider has a toddler sitting on his shoulders. He is holding onto the kid's legs to keep him stable, while the kid is throwing his arms out in excitement. The kid looks a lot like a younger Dave, but with green eyes. Behind them is a giraffe in a zoo enclosure. This is a scene from chapter 5 of the linked fic.

An image of Dave and Jade as super heroes. They are standing along a street that has recently been through a storm, so there is debris littering the road. The ocean can be seen in the background. Dave is giving Jade a thumbs up. There is another copy of Dave in the background, helping to clean up the debris.

chapter 17 of the thrilling adventures of coolkid and kiddo eclipse is now out! last chapter before the climax, so now is a great time to jump in just before the story starts to come to an end. read it here: archiveofourown.org/works/519505... #homestuck #jadeharley #johnegbert #davejade #fanfic

An excerpt from the fic that reads:

He wanted to meet in a park that was about halfway between the International Headquarters and the city of Prospit. They had agreed to the spot during their meeting a couple of days ago - it was a city nobody would be expecting to see them in, meaning that it was the best place to exchange information that they didn't want anybody knowing they had. He had either found something interesting about Vitruvian in his research, or he had some updates about Rose. Either were good things to know. Jade confirmed she'd be there in an hour or so, and she got herself ready.

It took her a few trips via teleportation to get there, and it was especially tricky since she was going as her civilian self rather than as Lady Eclipse. People would notice if a super hero was considerably outside her district at some random park, but nobody knew the name or face of Jade Harley. Her unmasked face was the perfect disguise. Once she got to the park, she swiftly found John and sat next to him on a bench.

"Hi John!" she said, relieved to see a friendly face. "How are you?"

Jade and John sitting on a park bench, looking at each other. John is holding a folder in his hand and is looking at Jade with worry. Jade looks tired, but has a hint of a smile on her face.

wanted to try my hand at #fakemon design again for shits and giggles. heres a lil weaving spider based on the story of arachne. she will evolve but idk if/when i will design the evo

Two color variations of a fakemon. The Pokémon looks like a squat bipedal spider with two big round eyes and an extra set of smaller eyes. It wears a veil made of its own silk based loosely on ancient greek veils. The one on the left has a light grey, blue, and gold color scheme, and the one on the right has a black, white, and silver color scheme.

Chapter 16 of my superhero AU is up on AO3! Read it here: archiveofourown.org/works/519505... #davejade #jadeharley #davestrider #fanfiction #homestuck

Jade and Dave are facing each other on either side of a glass pane, their hands pressed up against the glass to look like they're touching. Jade is dressed in a super hero outfit with a white visor that has dog ears on it and a cape. Dave is dressed in a gray sweatshirt and is wearing a hero mask.

A snippet from the fic that reads: Dave walked over to the glass. He couldn't touch Jade through the glass, but he could at least get closer to her. He reached up to place his hand against it - even if it was uncomfortable being so close to something that dampened his powers, being a little closer to Jade was worth it. "If you ask me, I think we should be considering the pros and cons of bringing kids into the business of being heroes in the first place. Like, why are you putting the weight of the world on my shoulders? I'm ten."

Jade laughed at that, and she placed her hand over his. It was cheesy, but it made his heart skip a beat all the same. "You may be onto something there, Dave," she agreed, though her smile soon fell into a more serious expression. "I'm sorry about freaking out on you earlier."

archiveofourown.org/works/519505... Finally back to updating my Homestuck superhero AU! please read it we're at the especially juicy bits now. #davejade #jadeharley #davestrider #fanfiction #homestuck

A digital illustration of Jade Harley dressed as a super hero. She has a distressed expression on her face and has removed the helmet that's part of her costume.

A snippet from the fic that reads: "Dave?"

For as much as Dave had tried to hide his identity from her, he had known this was coming. It was one thing to hide his former identity from her when he hadn't touched it in ten years, but now that he was actively wearing the mask? Of course she'd want to talk to Coolkid again, and then it would basically be inevitable that she'd notice all of the similarities between Coolkid and Dave.

He had considered running after Rose was taken down. It wouldn't have been too hard. Rose's weird power shit wasn't working anymore, so he could have easily just paused time and gotten himself the fuck out of there. But he couldn't do that to Jade. Now that she knew Coolkid was alive, it'd eat her up if he went and vanished out of nowhere.

"Yeah." He shrugged his shoulders a little. He wasn't sure how else to handle this. He wasn't sure what to even say. Did he go for the apology right off the bat, or did he let Jade chew him out for being duplicitous first?

Jade took off her helmet, letting them speak face-to-face, and it drove in the spike of guilt all the harder. He watched her face go through a whole range of emotions that he could only guess at. Shock, obviously, but he wasn't sure if that little furrow of her brow was anger or confusion or grief. He took a deep breath, and so did she.

finally got a painting that my dad had before he died in 2018. didn’t have the wall or storage space until recently to keep it, but now that ive got the house i have somewhere to put it. just got shipped in today and im so thrilled.

A large painting with several cardinals sitting in the branches of a tree. The landscape behind the birds is vague and somewhat abstract.

Same painting as before, but from further away to show where it’s now hung in my dining room.

A girl with blonde hair tied up in two buns that resemble Dedenne's ears. She has a red blush on her cheeks and is smiling as she looks to the side. She is wearing a yellow pair of overalls with black accents over an orange turtleneck, and she wears orange knee-high socks.
