We got through it. MH team were very kind and gave him 3 days worth of sleepy meds and a recommendation to see the pain clinic. He seemed a little better this afternoon 🙏

Thank you, that’s a great tip! As it was, they sent us straight through to the mental health team. They’ve given him a few days sleeping tablets to see if it helps lift his mood. Along with a recommendation for pain clinic.

Back in emergency with Mr27, who is in pain from back injury, not sleeping, feeling worthless. We’ve been triaged but have to wait probably many hours to see a doctor before they can refer him to mental health 🫥 it’s crowded and stinking hot in here and there has to be another way 😭

Ugh! My usual approach is to hope it goes away. I worked with an absolute snake, so happy when they left 😅 nekminnit, they married my bestie (it didn’t last)

realised oldest would be out by the time I drove youngest to work … do something for myself! vs go home and brainrot? steered to a new cafe in my area, felt naked so picked up a book from the local little library excellent coffee, delicious almond croissant. now home to continue reading in peace ☮️

It is! I’ve applied recently for positions that are basically my resume and heard zilch 😳

I do feel ok. I can’t think of any reason why I’d be passed over and I see they are hiring three people 🍀

done! online meeting they delayed by half an hour but that's ok, it "showed my flexibility". my gorgeous kids were worried coz they borrowed the car and raced home, thinking i had to attend in person <3

nodding my head so hard! youngest was diagnosed ocd at 8, it was another decade til ADHD, well-justified self-diagnosed autism. my oldest was 20 before he received his adhd diagnosis, 27 for autism, no matter how hard i pushed … if there is comfort for them and respite for you, so be it!

i have to resist the urge to race out and grab another. there's a lovely petite staffy gal at my local shelter but our finances are super tight right now. i've suggested we think of it as a family christmas gift … it is a popular time tho.
