Commentary: Seventy percent of Americans, including majorities of both Democratic and Republican voters, say marijuana should be legal. But in GOP-led states like Ohio, lawmakers choose to either ignore these voters or treat them with outright hostility.

Marijuana legalization advocates are the majority. It's time we act like it. • Ohio Capital Journal

The world has lost an incredible woman. Corrie Yelland cured herself of anal cancer by making cannabis suppositories. Ever since then she was on a mission to help others learn how to use cannabis to fight cancer saving thousands of lives. She was a member of the VCBC through her journey.

Reading George Orwell’s 1984 again right now. I recommend it to anyone who wants to read something that makes you think that things could be worse than they seem to be right now.

The medical cannabis program in Canada is so flawed that the VCBC has not complied. We have been raided and fined millions of dollars since legalization yet we remain open for our patients. Every day we continue our work is a miracle that is extending and improving lives.

While I was never on Twitter/X, I have used Facebook for over 10 years and this site is far superior to any other social media platform I’ve used. I love how easy it is to get news from around the world and read stimulating debate rather than seeing ads, memes and rude commentary

I guess it makes sense to give Public Safety to a cop, but ACAB! Will Begg be receptive to the rights of folks who presently have to break the law to acquire and use their cannabis medicine? @tedsmithvcbc.bsky.social

Obligatory cat photo. Merlin is sitting in the chair with Smokey on top. We don’t bring them to work anymore though after a scary incident going home

In 1996, I founded the Victoria Cannabis Buyers Club to supply patients with cannabis products.Since then I have been on the front line of the battle for access to cannabis medicines. I published HEMPOLOGY 101: THE HISTORY AND USES OF CANNABIS SATIVA in 2012 and was publisher of the Cannabis Digest.

Here are most of the front page stories that I have been in since the first one 25 years ago today. I seem to be missing a few that we got on the cover on because of April 20 but I am pretty sure that we got all the ones from the club. There are many more articles than this in my archives.
