A Bon dance is a traditional Japanese festival to honor the deceased & ancestors. The towns of Naalehu & Pahala, Big Island, were smashed in Hurricane Lala. There were deaths. Hosted by the Hongwangji. I imagine we will see Soto, Theraveda, et al, in attendance I intend to be there. Namo Buddhaya.

Listening to Dr. Kopperapu detail the difficulties in working with the PURSUE videos. Basically, they can't tell if its a bird flying close to the sensor or an object kilometers away. They can't determine the speed. Basically, none of the 112 videos have much analytical value. #UAPsky #UAP #UFO

Wow. That's a relief. Only 10-20inches of rain over this coming weekend. The Kona Low we experienced three months ago dropped 55inches of rain and 130mph winds so things are looking up!

The Big Island sustained hevy damage from Hurricane Lala, the first Hurricane to make landfall in modern history. I got through ok, many did not. Haven't seen FEMA but World Central Kitchen is here, feeding everyone. This is "doing good works".

Current view from space.... the eye of the storm is moving up the South Kona coast... hoping that it loses energy and momentum.... its one thing to go through this in the bush, its actually easier IMO, than dealing with it in an urban environment....

The storm has gone around South Point and is headed up the Kona coast. A lot of people are going to get storm damage I went through this on my offgrid spot and its been challenging but we are all dry. Still getting a lot of rain though the wind has fallen off as the storm passes behind Mauna Loa...

Seems to be stalled and getting bigger. Rain is very heavy, wind is about 40mph w gusts to 80... pretty tame as hurricanes go. ... the blue dot is the location of a WSR-88 "NexRad" radar. The image is coming from one near S Point.

Big fun in Paradise... Tropical storm Lala is now Hurricane Lala... I am really not looking forward to this. We are on the E side of the Big Island, nothing between us and the storm. I have been in a lot of Big Nature but I do not like big wind. At all. Wish us luck because our gov is no help.

Feeling all nostalgic over my training days with Hiro Kishimoto & friends. We would stay up all night drinking sake and eating edamame and other goodies. Then, a half hour before dawn, we would put on our uniforms and go outside and do drills and forms at sunrise. Not much like it today. Community.

The Schrödinger Equation cannot be formally proven from scratch because it is a fundamental postulate of quantum mechanics. However, it can be heuristically derived by combining classical energy conservation with the de Broglie relations for wave-particle duality. FYI. That is all.

I like it because it is visually illustrative. You can see the mental states with a little training. Which is more difficult with other martial arts like karate or sword... This is a good introduction to the entire perspective. If you can get a copy....

I have help. Momdog Ginger was living in the bushes on lizards, rats, and the occasional chicken. Our neighbor caught her and was going to shoot her. I stepped in and now have a lovely addition to my pack of the forever found. I work w local rescues so it isn't all on me....

For decades I have run into the same problem when trying to get scientific engagement w UAP cases. Decades, and I didn't see what it meant. I do now, papers are forthcoming... lol...
