I'm enjoying a lot of this anime. Finally getting to see Zoro pop off was fun during Whiskey Peak. Villain designs are... Okay. Smoker was awesome but these Baroque Works dopes are goofy as hell and so unserious. Also how many times is Luffy gonna get stuck and can't fight lol

I've kept up with none of the discourse so I have no idea what people are saying online l, but Dragon Ball Daima is a VERY fun lighthearted show. The fight choreography in particular is amazing. Everything feels very weighty and purposeful. Super stark contrast to Super and Z

Baratie Arc rules and was the best so far. Sanji also rules and his backstory is awesome. Some of these early antagonists are goofy as heck, especially knowing how insane some of them get later in the series. Like right now everyone is "guy with armor" or "guy with a weapon"

Japanese is such a goofy ass language sometimes. I had a session with my tutor today and was trying to explain that I had been in a Golf Tournament over the weekend. Not knowing the word for Tournament, I just said "Tonamento". Turns out, that's ACTUALLY the word for Tournament 😭
