I have not been taking the loss of the chapter master very well, as you can see Been taking my time with this. Trying to push what I know harder. Lots of back and forth adding and correcting. I gotta order a lightbox some time later lol

A still in progress Armageddon Space Marine Ancient in the colours of the Crimson Fists chapter.

Is there something wrong with FFXIV right now? Can't log in through the launcher, can't even get to the mogstation website to log in there. This happened last week but I thought I fixed it by resetting system settings... Are the login servers playing up?

Now that the video and thumbnail's out, I am in the recording! I was nervous and didn't sleep the whole night so I wouldn't miss out lol I may be the janitor of adeptus ridiculous, but it was nice to be there to celebrate Possum's birthday, and a pleasure to meet everyone.

It’s over… I need to buy a more ‘white’ light bulb but it’s done now

I'm not really surprised, just annoyed it took so long to get here. As for the characters; if there's enough demand for them they'll just bring them back. I'm guessing that's already the plan, since if Ventris/Kantor are dead we'd know that by now.

The reason I have done nothing but thumbnails the past few weeks -_- Literally waiting for a door to be installed and then my dad and I gotta paint it all… and THEN I can move the shelving back in.

Worked on some Drukhari last month. Both Drazhar and Lady Malys were nearly finished, it’s just lots of smaller details that were wearing me down. I was tossing around maybe trying NMM on all of them but… I think one archon is enough for me lol

Update on the Salamander Red Corsair raider, but got stuck on what colour to do his base 🤔

This is a Red Corsair Raider model painted as a Salamander using their less saturated green armour from the Horus Heresy.

I know a lot of the Destiny people are hurting right now, I certainly have my memories despite how small and unremarkable they are. But that version of the game I spent my hours on no longer exists. Not even for a fleeting moment of passing nostalgia. Nothing left to mourn.

Someone on the other site posted this vid of LotR: TTA. I think about this game sometimes as the first FF style JRPG I played and I laugh because the final boss is literally the Eye of Sauron. There's no context to how you reach it. You fight god, as is tradition, while everyones at the Black Gate.

A lot of people I think were very receptive of the old helmets being added for this particular reason, even when the redesigns are less gaudy compared to the old. So the thought just occurred to me; are they doing the same thing here? Adding the older helmets in recognition of the past?

TeddZero @teddzero.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

I look at the Sternguard, and recently the Red Corsairs, and a big reason I like them is because they have the old AND the new designs. There's a bit of reverence for the past when also embracing the new era. 40k is full of its own history, and it's cool to see it all together, like a tapestry.

Man I gotta lock in... So much to learn from Bob's entry. Black under armour! He got rid of the tassels and the flag for a simpler cloth on the barrel. Non metallic metal... lots to think on.

Bob Cohoon's recent Golden Demon Fuegan model.

So we got a new Mechanicus Archmagos, Thulia Ghuld. She's very cool. Certainly makes Cawl look short. The new Hastarii... ehh. I get their battlefield role, they're practical. Skitarii aren't meant to be unique, but I could barely tell they had hind legs when I first saw them.
