I had to do the OPM JPASS(?) Bullshit when the Marine Corps made us get DOD TS w/ SSBI clearances just to have a Windows Admin account when I was with NMCI.

Yay! Work shirts arrived, I'm finally 'official'. :) It's been a bit of a bitch getting used to 12pm to 10pm shifts though. Thankfully only 4 10s.

Fun fact: Nestor 1 is played by Earl "Dr. Silberman" Boen. :)

"That's what we call 'meat' back home."

You should see the size of the tomahawks they acquire for our 628 Steakhouse here at Rolling Hills...

Very cool. Feels good, dunnit?

Teddy Tiger @teddytiger.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

It's kind of depressing to find out someone who was a friend of 20+ years has been holding a grudge for almost 5 of those years now.

Teddy Tiger @teddytiger.bsky.social · 28/07/2026

First day at the new job went good, except my car battery finally quit. Had to get a jump start home. It's on the charger but I'll need a new one since this hit it 6 year mark and it's likely just tired. Got some help already thanks to a friend, but can use a bit more until I get paid!

What are you using to ingest all of that media?

Huh, I wonder why they're not doing the 'trodes for his Deck.

I'm buying back into AppleTV once this drops. Having read Neuromancer probably a million times as well as Count Zero, I'm pumped.

Update: My Orientation starts this coming Monday, 7/27 and I'll transition to my regular Swing schedule sometime in about 2 weeks. I can still use the help below, especially Insurance. Thanks for sharing!

If any Rail furs feel like taking a drive if they're within a reasonable distance, there is a Model Train show up in Redding the first weekend of August.

I loved the DC Metro stations when I was out there for work.

They tend to. I have an old W510 that I got from @kiteless.furries.club.ap.brid.gy many moons ago. I'm sure it would boot up if I gave it a charge.

You wanna be my next reference?
