Can’t wait to see all the developers and RE cartels volunteering to lower their rents and leave $ on the table. Seems they’d be more likely to abandon buildings full of vacant units and default consequence-free on loans, then sue if challenged (like 47 used to do.)

They fight against regs and reqs to build affordable units. File bankruptcy or sue to avoid debt payment.
