Dublin talk by Tom Flood, ex-car ad man who now pedals active travel, moved to larger venue
-- Previously sold-out event moved to a larger venue to allow for demand. Canadian Tom Flood will give his planned talk in Dublin later this month to a larger venue. This means tickets are now available again for the event that had been sold out. The talk is still happening on September 22nd and still on the Trinity College Dublin main campus, but with a new venue of the Dargan Auditorium at the Trinity Business School.

Data-driven tests in Pester: give It -ForEach a list of hashtables. Each key becomes a variable in the test, and <key> in the title expands per case. It 'adds <a> and <b>' -ForEach @(@{a=1;b=2}) { } #pspester #powershell

#AerLingus marks 90 years of flying with the newly- restored de Havilland DH.84 Dragon. EI-ABI “Iolar” is a rare model dating back to 1936 is living Irish aviation history. “Iolar” (Irish for Eagle) flew Aer Lingus’ first commercial flight on 27 May 1936 from Dublin to Bristol.

We didn't tackle drink-driving by banning cars. We changed behaviour. We strengthened the law. We enforced it. We educated people. That's how public policy should work.

Instead of banning compliant e-scooters: • Enforce the laws already on the books. • Target illegal imports. • Police age limits and speed restrictions. • Stop retailers selling illegal machines alongside children's scooters. • Ban marketing e-scooters to children.

Don't force the user to run Set-MicrophoneAccess disable -confirm:$false The syntax should be Set-MicrophoneAccess Disable -Force Setting a false value on a switch parameter is ugly and not something a beginner would understand. But they should understand -Force esp. with help documentation
