Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

Dolly Parton was such a light in my early, scared life. I was a part of her reading program, which started me on the path I'm still on, always wanting to learn. She always had a strong voice for people being allowed to exist, and it gave me early courage to be me. Her legacy is grand and beautiful.

I have been sick ALL year I swear. Pneumonia, COVID, flu, mono episode (I think, it was a month of fatigue), rhinovirus, It's been, like, 40% of my year. Plus a nasty ankle sprain on top of it. My therapist tells me it's because I'm worn out. I miss being a person 😭

I feel like my biggest piece of advice for not getting scammed (as someone who is, like, $7k in the hole on dropped commissions) is commission people who show the ability to feel shame. Every time I get scammed, it's by people who have never shown any shame on their profile for dropping the ball.

I went to the eye doctor today and I am SO annoyed at how hard it was to re-enable my previously shortcutted screen reader so I could use my phone while I had my eyes dilated. I feel like accessibility keeps taking big steps back. It's good for everyone to make things easier!

Interacting with sports people is so much harder than show people. If I see a sports thing, I need to know 3 years of trading history before I know if I send it to my sports friends. If I have a friend that's into an anime, I can send them /any/ content from it and they will immediately explode.

My work may be making me full time in an office 20 minutes away. I will have to explain to them that I can't do 4 jobs, including after hours support and emergency hours, in an office setting with a commute. My laptop would live in the office. This is after having to fix the system during FWA.
