🙌 #EpicWebConf I would love to meet @leahtcodes.bsky.social and @leaht.codes!! I’m impressive and inspired by both of their journeys getting into tech, learning in public and building community. It would be an honor to catch Madison and Leah’s talks!

Day 1 of #100DaysOfCode : - started off day with a react native tutorial from @freeCodeCamp - crash course on JavaScript from @thenetninjauk And enrolled in a Wordpress developer beginner course. Not a lot done today but enough to get started. 😎🤙

Jealous of the cup! But I’m working til 6 pm (pst) and then going to be coding the rest of the evening. Tomorrow - attending church in the AM and relaxing at home with the wife and kiddo.

Ooh this is awesome. Good job Madee! I created a Wordle clone myself. Maybe I should recreate it using React and typescript🤔

000

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 23/06/2023

Are you open to roommates? Or you looking for something on your own?

010

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 20/06/2023

Life tends to throw us a curve ball when things are going good just to keep us on our toes I feel like 🥲 I’m feeling it too. Life kicking my butt atm

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 09/05/2023

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 08/05/2023

Picking up Java for the next 2 months in preparation of JP Morgan’s ETSE program applications. DSA in Java compared to Python is going to be a weird transition but I got this 😎

Cybersecurity would be nice, definitely high in demand!

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 03/05/2023

SecretLab is a good choice as well!

When looking for a mentor, what’s is a good approach when asking if someone would be willing to be a mentor? (Hope that makes sense)

000

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 29/04/2023

My goal for the next 2 months is to prepare for the JP Morgan Chase ETSE program application that open up in July. Hoping to get a offer for the October cohort. Time to grind!

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 27/04/2023

I’ll definitely take you up on that lol.. I can handle heat but when you mix in awful humidity. It’s a big no. Can’t do it. Lol. I feel like you can’t enjoy the outdoors 😅 (I’m sure some people get use to it of course. )

010

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 27/04/2023

Yeah Washington is pretty nice. I’ve been here since I was 8. (Lived CA for a few years) but majority of my life was spent here and it’s great. I personally would love to stay here but my wife wants to move elsewhere (she’s thinking Texas) and I’m like hmm idk about that heat 😅

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 27/04/2023

I too, contemplated moving to Colorado but currently in Washington. Waiting to see how this year goes before I decide where to move too!

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

It’s hard enough so I can only imagine being sleep deprived! You got this though!

010

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

It’s great. The instructor is amazing at teach concepts and doesn’t sugar code anything at all. All the vids are on YouTube for free.

010

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

I feel this. Working graveyard has been a struggle/is currently a struggle. Definitely want to switch jobs but not unless it’s a tech job.

000

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

Definitely appreciate that! I’ll give it a shot and let you know when it happens. Would love the support!

010

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

It really is! But thank you for the warm welcome, I enjoy supporting your streams!

010

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

Definitely want to do that but like you, I fear of looking dumb and not being able to retain a audience is what’s holding me back!

Eduardo Vazquez @techwithed.bsky.social · 26/04/2023

Also currently working on building projects & and portfolio so I can land my first tech role!

Hello everyone! My names Eduardo! I currently graduated from a program called Year Up that introduced me to the basics of full-stack development and then placed me at 6 month internship at JP Morgan where I focused on backend development/cloud. And I am now currently going through 100Devs bootcamp.
