Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 29/09/2026Why am I so bad at actually posting? Started some Aleph. 021 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 03/09/2026Those are really cool! You don’t have to rebase tho, plenty of places to get base extenders so they remain usable in older rulesets too. Someone recommended Battlemarch, I’d second that :) 010 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 01/09/2026The marines are cool, but those raptors steal the show! 110 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 22/05/2026The green one, I think. They’re both lovely but the green one has a better contrast between the cloth and the armour IMHO. 130 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 19/05/2026For a moment I thought it meant your designs were available as minis. I’m sad; my wallet is relieved. 110 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 13/03/2026Ooh, that is SUCH a good model. Really looking forward to seeing you paint it 010 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 10/03/2026I’ve had little time to paint lately, but I’ve restarted my JSA for Infinity after I found a scheme I’m basically happy with. Slowly picking my way through the nmm on this bike. 0120 0

Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 04/03/2026I really, really dig what you’re doing with these. You’ve kept the “soul” of the older metal minis while updating them thoroughly, IMHO. 140 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 02/03/2026That.. does not bode well for the Lamenters, does it? Not that boding well for the Lamenters is a frequent occurrence. 020 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 25/02/2026Interesting read, that. Always fun to realise that even if I’m an old fart, the stuff I fondly remember as the good old days were, in fact, other people’s newfangled nonsense. Also, my knees still work. Occasionally. 020 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 26/11/2025So very sorry to hear this, Ian. It’s easy to see how loved he is. 010 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 27/08/2025I was there in May and I’m pretty sure they’re a challenge or possibly insult? Most people seemed to take them as one. After getting home I was sorta reliably-ish informed most of the radars and photo traps are just for deterrence, and not functional. Dunno if true. 110 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 31/07/2025Huh. Here in DK there’s plenty of problems with landlords but at least they can’t enter without permission unless it’s an emergency… 000 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 31/07/2025… they’re allowed that? It seems absolutely wild to me they can demand entry in your home like that. I’d be fuming. 120 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 25/07/2025Good of you to give them some exposure! Citerdel, was it? 100 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 19/07/2025Hadn’t heard of that game, looks pretty interesting! 000 0
Reposted by Techtypeianthemouthofmadness.fenrisgames @fenrisgames.com · 26/06/2025Those of you who've followed me for a while know I generally only run a sale for an unplanned expense, not for regular bills like workshop rent or materials. So here's a 20% discount to help me pay for an unexpected emergency vet bill for Fenris co-pilot Oz. Use code OZVET20 at checkout. Thankyou. 30202142 0

Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 27/03/2025Hard agree, I hope they eventually soft-retcon it to be a problem with the early models. Much how the Rubicon Primaris was a very dangerous procedure and then quickly became pretty reliable. Which makes sense, really. 010 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 06/03/2025Lamenters, from an old army and Twitter thread: Frater-sergeant Lanco. Killed in hand-to-hand combat by a Minotaur Terminator sergeant during the defense of the Mater Lachrymatum, as he bought frater Rione time to reposition to a new firing position. Geneseed recovered. 0253 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 02/03/2025I’m shite at actually posting. Trying to get better at that. Recently had some games of Infinity, as the new edition’s come out, and the Trinitarian Tertiaries quickly became irreplacable in my Military Orders list. WIP, rather obviously. 030 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 17/02/2025It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s that I don’t have time 😅 000 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 17/02/2025It’s getting really difficult not to start an AoS force… Those are fantastic. 100 0

Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 02/01/2025First model of 2025. Pardon the super professional backdrop. Just a one-off I think, but the model is a joy to work with. 1102 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 02/01/2025I feel like the vast majority of consumer tech “advances” in the last decade or so, maybe 7 years, have been increasingly desperate attempts to achieve the same explosive growth that tech investors grew used to back when advances were revolutionary, not incremental. 170 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 01/01/2025I don’t mind; means work starts on a thursday this year. Can think of worse starts than a 2-day work week. 010 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 24/11/2024I’d be VERY unsurprised to find out it started as a foot Huss, even if I don’t know for sure. I do know it’s a fantastic mini tho. 000 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 24/12/2023These guys! Still love the woodies… I think I started just before 5th came out in ‘96, I remember a mate getting the box with the brets and lizards when they came out and I had a small force of WE by then. 121 0
Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 24/12/2023I thought the chapter badge was bad enough to do in 28mm…. Full army when? 140 0

Techtype @techtype.bsky.social · 17/12/2023This guy. One of the first Finecast runs, AWFUL quality - had to resculpt quite a bit of the armour. He wound up in a bitsbox for something like a decade before joining my heresy fists last month. 020 0
