YES! i will never understand why the fringy pitchers and pitchers that had injury issues don't try that, even as last resort. hell, even position players who pitched in high school that are on the verge of being dropped. roll that dice.

100%. brother-of-pedro got by on a relatively good fastball and a terrific feel for a circle change in spite of having meh control/command and not particularly impressive feel for pitching. there isn't another pitch that lets an SP get by on 2-pitches without one being extraordinary.
