Mother's Day Present, Watercolor w/ Pen & Ink She hasn't seen it yet. I'm not super experienced with watercolor, but I've watched many tutorials and have read through a book with a 2nd just begun. I can see a lot of my mistakes and feel out of depth, but that's learning for you. More to come.

Did some blacksmithing today. Worked on a bunch of handles. They still need to be twisted and cleaned, but I have to get all the metal in the right shape first. I have been painting, by the by. It's still ongoing, though its completion is nigh.

So this is as far as I got with making my paintings of Alex Shepherd and Murphy Pendleton, before my drawing tablet gave out. I have four more pieces I'm going to try and complete, but I'll have to switch to a traditional medium to finish them. Gonna go for 'watercolors' (heavily diluted gouache).

Apologies for the recent radio silence. This painting has been destroying me, to the point that I feel burnt out (after the 5 paintings before it also). I'm not used to painting so regularly or rigorously. I decided to take the week off and chill, then hop back into painting afterwards.

Thank you for 100 Followers! This is the first social media acct. where I've had over 100 ppl looking at my stuff. As I watched the number grow from 80 to 90+ I've been contemplating what I wanted to make to celebrate, and this is the result. I hope to make more of these in the future!

This is not the art I intended to post, but the art I intend has not been made yet so you've all gotta make due in the meantime. >:P Just some practice with ink, although compared to solid areas of dark and fine lines for shading, I REALLY like the texture of, well, dry brushed detail I suppose.
