Old SATA SSDs are actually pretty cool on the inside. I know for a fact that a 2 terabyte SATA SSD these days is less than half the size of this PCB. This used to be my boot drive years and years ago.

Oh my god. This is, genuinely, a dream purchase. My website will be updated soon.
A copy of Creating Web Pages For Dummies; 2nd Edition, with the associated CD-ROM disc right beside it in a jewel case. Both have labels from a thrift store; the book was $5.49 CAD, the CD was $1.99 CAD.A picture of one of the first pages of the book showing a copyright date of 1997

Unfortunately, the balding old guy with a moustache, liver spots, and a long nose has come to replace the side-eye.

...interesting. Born and raised in Toronto so obviously it couldn't get this right no matter what, but Cali is... kinda far from where I am lol.

I give you... Hot.
It's a hot wheels car.... Without wheels. Deliberately. There aren't even cutouts for wheels. This isn't a mistake.

The fuck is this doing in Toronto Pearson airport? I can't find anything about this online. This is past the us border control point, but still in Canada. PragerU and the white house. Ew. I didn't stop to read anything so idk what they're actually saying in the placards to the right.
A banner advertising "The road to liberty" "museum" by PragerU, in partnership with the white house. This is in an airport. There are photos on the wall with placards beneath.

My current card is... a little bit bigger. But it's also currently in use so I can't get a good comparison shot, lol. But look at this thing!!! HUGE!!!! Also, team red now.

That 970 worked fine... but I'm nearly certain that it came warped like this. The PCB looks like a banana, the heatsink is all bent, and the plastic shroud is actually slightly interfering with one of the PCIe power inputs. It feels so dinky and light compared to my other cards.

Went out and grabbed my two previous GPUs as well from storage so I can display them. Top to bottom, 970, 1070, 3070 Ti.

Local models without the stolen training data might make a difference for good (see: corridor crew's greenscreen thingy that they trained on their own data) Anything fully generative is a problem.

I'll probably put my parts up somewhere since I think they're better than what's currently available as "k240 mkii replacement parts". The only thing I don't have a drop-in replacement for are the elastics. Can even use the original screws, and original parts combined with replacements.

I love what I did with these headphones. AKG K240 MkII, with a bunch of the plastics replaced with 3D printed parts I designed myself to duplicate the originals. Including, importantly, an attachment which lets me use a Fiio BTR5 plus a short cable to make these into fully wireless cans.

Just picked up a real early 90s mixtape! No idea who John is, but this is his mix! I've transcribed the tracklist within the alt text on the second picture (with some of my own comments), and I've also copied the entire tracklist into spotify: open.spotify.com/playlist/00X...
Type II Maxell cassette tape beside its case, with a completely filled J-card. This is an early 90s mixtape. A real one.Full handwritten tracklist of the mixtape. Recorded "Sat. March 21, 1992".
Tracklist AS WRITTEN with typos. My own comments in brackets:
SIDE A:
G:N:R = Live and Let Die
G:N:R = Don't Cry
G:N:R = You ain't the 1st
Led Zeppelin = Kashmir
Nirvana = Smells like Teen Spirit
Mr. Big = To be With You
Jimi Hendrix = Foxy Lady (should be Foxey; also this recording isn't very good)
Beatles = Yellow Submarine
Beatles = Sargent Pepper
Beatles = Hey Jude
Monty Python (sic; no further info there)
SIDE B:
Tom C = Life's a Highway
Bohemian Rapsidy = Queen (sic; and yes the artist and song title switched places one song into the side B listings lmao)
D'yer Maker = Led Zeppelin
Over the Hills and Far Away (no artist listed, but it's Led Zeppelin)
Thunderstruck = ACDC
Heartbreaker = Led Zeppelin
Instant Karma = Beatles (lol, it's actually Lennon and Yoko)
Stairway to Heaven = L.Z.
Territorial Pissings = Nirvana
Breed = Nirvana
Come as you are = NirvanaSpine of the tape;
"John's Mix"
There's also a circled number 1 on the right, indicating that this might be the first of many tapes?

Both are screenshots from ebay listings for replacement displays; left is an Index display, right is a Pocket display. The only difference is that the Pocket one has a piece of glass bonded to it.

Fun fact: For the past 16 years, I've been using a set of entirely custom mouse cursors I made on some random Windows XP cursor maker program. I have animated ones for "loading" and resize arrows, too.

I still got em
Two CDs; RollerCoaster Tycoon, and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2. Both are specifically the "General Mills" versions that you would get for free from a cereal box.

Long shot. I remember watching this CG tv show as a kid that had at least two autonomous floating "blimp" robots on either earth post-humans or some other planet. One blue, one red. The robots were built like a blimp, but had a human style head on a thingy hanging below. Hastily drawn pic attached.
Quick ballpoint pen drawing of an egg shaped thing with two sections that look like mesh. Out of the bottom, hanging underneath towards the "point" of the egg is a neck connecting to a head with an eye.

What is this? That's right! It's a cab.
A cab. As in, a taxi. Specifically, a bright orange Toyota Corolla with, uh, greenish-teal(?) hood, roof, and trunk operated by Beck Taxi in Toronto.

a cab.

For someone not in favour of immigration to the United States, you certainly seem to be in favour of **forced** immigration to the United States.

An "early adopter" who follows a total of three people. No, you made your account here, abandoned it for the nazi site where you're following 901 people and still actively posting, and then came back explicitly to start shit with a content creator who has made his opinions clear in the past.

In Canada we have Cheese Trio Goldfish, which mix regular Cheddar, Parmesan, and "Zesty Cheddar" (basically just strong cheddar, not flavour blasted) all in one bag. It breaks up the monotony of single flavour goldfish and tastes pretty good! Unfortunately not available in the US afaik.

Heyyy mine doesn't have that! It's identical otherwise, though. Then again, I got mine from a friend rather than via any official means; I don't even know where these originally came from. And my UV light didn't come with the bill, I just have a UV light.

Fun fact: Unless they have upgraded their oscilloscopes, one of the scopes in the radio lab of Humber College's North campus has a screensaver that says "TECHDISK WAS HERE". And yes, the scopes did have floppy drives, and also yes, I did test one out and found that it worked.
