Probably one of my least gamey pieces that's still in a game. I love how stern she looks while having a dead bird on her hat. People actually used to wear dead birds in their hats.

My partner says this is the greatest piece of illustration that I've ever done. There was a time period where posh, fancy people wore posh fancy hats, and they decorated them with ACTUAL DEAD BIRDS. (She told me this years ago, but it's been lurking, begging for a reason to come bursting out.)

I watched an art demo by Dani Diez where the first few markings of his sketch already had me imagining what the final painting would look like. He ended up taking it in a very different direction, and I left wanting to draw the thing that I couldn't stop thinking about... 😶

2024 was a tough one. I'm creatively all over the place and clawing my way out of post-launch burnout but I've managed to take steps toward a more sustainable pace and getting closer to making my energy-pot look less like an energy-colander. I just celebrate that I made anything at all! #artvsartist

The second cat is a silly little derp. She gets her fur tangled a lot and probably wouldn't do so well in the wild. When you pet her she licks you, or your blanket, or whatever else you're wearing.

I offer you a photo of my first cat. He exposes his belly a lot, and happily accepts tummy rubs until he doesn't.
