If you see this post a vampire that isn't Dracula.

Action figure of Janos Skorzeny, the 'vampire' serial killer from the Kolchak movie The Night Stalker.

A day late, but I just saw this. Always great in everything. I'm always reminded of the first thing I saw Indira in, she was a late night horror movie host on Sci-Fi Channel UK. Sci-Fright was on back around the turn of the millennium and showed double bills of sci-fi horror movies.

Screenshot of Indira Varma as Nina, hosting a segment of the show Sci-Fright, wearing a ball gown and having just destroyed a TV set with a sledgehammer.

Name a non-LotR character who could resist the One Ring:

Chandler Bing complaining about gifted jewellery, describing it as an eyesore from the Liberace House of Crap.

Why yes, I did just bulk buy outdated no-longer-available chewing gum sticks, thank you for asking. Yeah, it's partly for nostalgia and partly for ND purposes.

Or plimsolls/plimmys, depending on the type. I'm picturing rubber soles and canvas uppers as gym shoes.

Classic school plimsolls, basic slip on canvas shoe for generic sports.

Converse All Star, fashionable canvas shoe with no arch support.

My wife asked me to do her a picture based on the Gravy Boat song in Bob's Burgers. Couldn't sleep last night so I did this for her birthday. It's a bit messy, I didn't bring my glasses downstairs with me. Might tidy it up a bit when I can see better.

Painted my parents a picture for their wedding anniversary. They didn't get a photo outside of the church 44 years ago. I added some of the guests that couldn't make it.

My grandad gave me this book 30odd years ago, I felt it was too old and scary for me but held on to it. A few years ago I took it out of storage and looked it up, to find it's a sequel. Took a while to find the first story but I'm reading that now and I'll read this next.

Paperback book Skraelings by Carl Sherrell. Cover art depicts a demon-man standing tied up, but threatening, over a native American woman in the snow.

I've been intrigued for quite a while by these brass tigers I keep seeing on eBay. Finally gave in to my curiosity. They seem to be replicas of the Masters of the Universe Cringer figure (originally the Tarzan Jungle Cat) but actually are slightly smaller.

This year's batch of homebrew mead, for the first time, is made with locally sourced honey from a back-garden beekeeper that I found throught FB. Usually I just get whatever looks most like authentic single source(ish) honey in Lidl. Pitched the yeast yesterday afternoon and seems to be healthy.

Demijohn with 5 litres of mead in it, frothing slightly following its first daily shake to stop the yeast from settling in the bottom.
