okay I’d been wondering if this was the case from the descriptions in your shop!! The first time I read it, I think I assumed you were describing printing the whole image, fudging the color settings on your printer, and then printing a differently-tinted layer of the same whole image on top

Do discounts like this come out of Amazon’s cut, or do they also affect how much you get paid? Like, if someone could afford full price and wanted to maximize how much you receive from a book purchase, would it be worth waiting until there *isn’t* a sale, or does it not matter on your end?

Tiny bees of early spring! I'm slowly getting better at Tiny Bee ID & did a little rundown of the genera of bees you're likely to see. Dime, bumble, & honeybee for scale. granted, this species range is for March/April & it is now May so I'm running behind, but bit by bit, I'm building up resources!

Types of native spring bees of eastern north America - TO SCALE!
In the background is a time, and faded out silhouettes of bumblebee and honeybee for scale

Smallest to largest
Ceratina - shiny, metallic, low to the ground, and a blue-ish color. Minimal visible hair
Lasioglossum - shiny and metallic, silvery-gray with some hair, especially in bands on abdomen
Osmia - ROTUND, round with a pollen belly. This one happens to be hairy and gray, but there's a wide variety out there
Colletes - black bug with a fuzzy fur coat and abdominal banding. Heart-shaped face
Andrena - black bug with a fuzzy fur coat and minimal abdominal banding. Square-rectangular face
Nomada - earthtone tiny "wasp" sometimes REALLY tiny

Have you been able to confirm this fundraiser is legit/will go to his family? The update posts on it seem… kind of generic. I remember seeing a GFM for Keith Porter that got widely passed around, took in a lot of money, and then abruptly disappeared right as a seemingly-legit second GFM showed up

I just discovered these on my desktop and realized I'd never posted them (or remembered to try again for better ones), so

Most of my experience is with watching wild buns and I’m definitely not a body language expert, but fwiw I would have interpreted this one as remarkably chill under the circumstances? It not only doesn’t hunker down and freeze, it’s taking pauses to groom itself and sniff around

It sounds like her wife was out of the car at the time of the shooting, at least. I think she might've been the person who was following ICE around the side of the car to film, and then sprinted after the car when it crashed
