Please make sure you use HedgeModManager8 to install the mod, as well as reinstall the "Mod Loader" from the settings, to ensure any required decompiled scripts are properly installed.

Hiya! We just had a developer test installing the current version of the mod from updating 3.0 to 3.0.7, and the mod is working fine. You more than likely have an incomplete installation of Scripts from HedgeModManager8, and potentially an incompatible mod or two.

from there, you can use it, download the latest community codes, and use Ultrafix 3.0.2! It should work after you set everything up and hit that Save button. There's ongoing testing in the Retro Engine Modding discord server. I suggest you hop over there, to provide feedback and info.

There's been an emergency hotfix to prevent a crash in Hydrocity Zone if you have Tails as a Partner! Sorry for the inconvenience everyone. If you downloaded 3.0 from GB or successfully got it from the update server before, you should be able to just update with HMM8 to get the new files faster.

In order to install this upload, just download the OriginsUltrafix3.0.7z file. Then, once you do, extract the OriginsUltrafix folder inside it to your Mods folder. You can find it on HMM8 and HMM7 through the Settings menu, like so:

There IS an ongoing problem with some files not showing up and causing a few issues for HMM7 users, though. for the time being, those users should use HMM8 to get the update.

This has been solved! Though HedgeModManager8 has one advantage compared to 7, and that is allowing you to update faster from 3.0 Ultrafix and onwards. I personally recommend you guys use it.

So, if you are a Linux user, the team deeply apologizes. It's something that they do not have control over directly, as it's related to a code library in HedgeModManager. They're hoping it will get fixed at some point, but for now this is how it will be. I hope you all understand. 😓

Are you running the mod through the Steam version of Sonic Origins? That's where it's most compatible- and it specifically has to be version 2.0.2 of that release.

I'm not too sure why this would be happening? If this happens to you in the base game with no mods, it might be an issue with your Steam Input configuration, and not the game or mod.

Ensure you're doing the Sonic 3 level select input on the title screen, before you press a button to show menu options. It's best to use a D-Pad for more accurate inputs than analog stick, hope that helps!
