The first book in another trilogy (sorry), The Will of the Many seems like a standard "exiled prince hides in evil empire plotting revenge" book, but it's both very fun the whole way through, and had probably the most unpredictable ending to a book I've ever read. Cant wait for more

Blood Song tells the possibly truthful recounting of the protagonist's journey to becoming a member of a religious paramilitary group followed by becoming the most hated man in an empire. It's got some magical bits scattered throughout that really come into play in books 2 and 3.

Jade City (and the rest of the Greenbone trilogy) are like if The Godfather was set in southeast asia and also the mafia had superpowers. It's personality really shines and I was enthralled basically the entire way through the series.

Okay I'm super late to this but here you are - This is How you Lose the Time War is by far one of the best books I've ever read. It tells the story of two agents on opposing sides of a war across time, and it's just so beautiful it made me SOB.

A custom magic the gathering card. It's a parody of older cards with obscurely worded abilities that also suck. It features a blue guy with a septum piercing, I believe he's the frontman of some rock band.
The card reads: Ashnod Applebottom, 4UBBR, 4/4. Summon Legend. The first time you tap an artifact on a turn, if another card is sacrificed as part of that ability, you may activate that ability again for free, especially if the card is named 'Ashnod's Altar' and if a sacrificed creature has the 'Phyrexian' subtype, whereupon it happens again. 4, Sacrifice a creature: Put a -2/+3 counter on this creature. It becomes a Wall creature until end of turn. (Walls can't attack).

I've also read this book by the same author and loved it just as much, if not more. I've seen this one all over booktok and they're right, it's a banger. What I liked about it: - Cool magic system again :) - Critique of gender roles and parental expectations - A subversion of YOUR expectations

So many people seem to believe radical feminism is bio-essentialist and I just don't think that's true. Is this just a result of terfs imposing their flawed beliefs onto it?

In response to the quoted skeet, two other reddit users post their views on radical feminism as follows.

User one:
Because that is what radical feminism is at its core. Its bio essentialist, racist, ableist. Trans exlusive radical feminist (terf) is a redundant name, as any classical radical feminism is by definition trans exclusive.

This wave of feminism was and will always be about white cis suburban able bodied women trying to throw anybody besides themselves under the bus, and its why contemporary feminism has evolved past it.

This! People seem to think radfems are "feminism but more," when its really a sharp-right hand turn towards racism and ableism and bio-essentialism.

Someone on reddit asked why radical feminist spaces have so many TERFS in them, and many of the responses are saying that radical feminism itself is a racist, ableist, and bio-essentialist ideology. I've not heard these arguments before. Is this a legitimate criticism, or mistargeted due to terfs?

A response to the reddit question and comments in the thread, text is as follows:

The responses to this question are very confusing to me, because as I understand it, most modern radfems in the TERF fashion, are essentially just appropriating the radical feminist label. They misunderstand radical feminism's opposition to the class of Men from a bio-essentialist viewpoint of Man as the oppressor. They're taking a shortcut to critiquing the Patriarchy, and in so doing hollowing out the actual values of radical feminism, and filling the void with bio-essentialist drivel.

If anyone could provide some specific information on how they see radical feminism as a racist and ableist ideology I would like to hear it!
