Resurrecting my social media, hello, long time no see, I'm ok 😬✨🖍️ While I'm revisiting my commissions queue and texting everyone if they're still interested, expect some YCHs and adopts Little snippets of what I've been up to, fun fact: I've tabled at Eurofurence! That was crazy!

I wanna grab 1-2 digital sketch comm, pay what you want/can, PayPal, artistic freedom, DM me if interested, priority to the people that I know✨ No guarantees about the style, but here's some old examples of what it might be potentially 🤔 Testing the waters of drawing again 👀

Wanted to get a top surgery for a while now, but not like this. I've burned through all of my savings, so I created a go fund me. All the money will go to my therapist, upcoming conventions fees and some old bills, I don't know when I'll be able to go back to commissions.

Breaking the silence with breaking news: I just had a top surgery and I'm officially alive ✨ Context: All my life I had benign lumps forming in my chest and they kinda stopped being benign recently, so I had to speedrun the surgery.

I'm gonna do a raffle soon, wanted to do this here for ages, but I'm drowning in work until mid June. Wanna post it now, mostly because I need a serotonin boost and something to look for after scary deadlines for markets and cons 🥲 So yes, will post soon, but results sometime in June 🙃

In a weird place atm, I should talk and draw with other people more, it's been a while since I did that. Let me know if you wanna go draw in the museum 🦖

Maybe it's because these items are also not "useful", for example I have no issues ordering tote bags. At some point I'll shrink my merch so it would be only linocut prints and originals, they have a more personal touch too, compared to everything else. My brain is a little weird lately so nevermind

Feeling weird about ordering/manufacturing acrylic keychains, even if recycled in my mind I imagine a plastic brick appearing because of me. It's weird that I imagine it only with keychains, I make a lot of vinyl stickers, which is also not great argh

It'll probably be graphic-ish art style with light shading, definitely not full on colour, probably 1-2 accent colours 🤔

Sitting on the following chairs atm: rainbow pencil art, linocuts, adopts, visual novel and a brand new one - woodcarving, yaaay me, gonna make it all 🌟🔥

But it all boils down to “just do it scared”, I’m not truing to talk anyone out of doing markets, on the contrary, it’s the best and the worst thing I’ve done as an artist. It’s more about “it’s never gonna be a perfect time”. Apply to that scary thing, you’ll never know the outcome until you try.

010

🐟Tea Eel 🌟 Feral Foliage 🌿 @teaeel.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

Markets are such a mental rollercoaster, from application to waiting, from preparation to actually talking to a customer, nothing could’ve prepared me for all of this. It’s simply impossible to think about everything in advance, even now, over 30 markets in, I’m still nervous, unsure and scared.

Missed Sunday and Monday, because market was weirdly exhausting, I enjoyed it, didn't feel like I did much, but I'm still extremely tired 🥲 I did bigger/longer markets and I did over 30 markets in general, but don't remember being so tired 🥴
