Been playing a lot of Mystery Dungeon lately. I've been enjoying myself but damn if that Food system doesn't feel just a little arbitrary against your survivability some delves.

A two panel comic featuring Book from the arcade game Wonderboy in Monster Land, part of the Monster World series. On the top panel Book, wearing his initial outfit of a headband and cloth diaper, is talking to someone off-panel asking "Look, I'm super happy you chose to put me into the new Mystery Dungeon game, but can we do away with the whole "Food" system?", to which the other person is replying "Don't worry, we got something figured out, just for you!"

The second panel is a faux screen shot of a Mystery Dungeon game. Book is standing in the middle with an annoyed look on his face, another pixelated comic speech bubble shows him shouting "Oh come ON!!". Next to him is an opened inventory window showing various items including a sword and two potions, as well as a couple of Diaper items. The HUD includes stats such as his current Hit Points, his current floor, and the free capacity of his current diaper.

Found an unused Amazon gift card the other day, decided to gift myself with this kit. Honestly pretty surprised at even the D-Pad being pressable and all the other neat building tricks. Real Gameboy included for scale

Pretty much a cut-down version of a meme I did a year ago, but I can still say these nine had some of the heaviest pivotal effects on my tastes in gaming and I could state the reasons for each one. #My9Games

A meme of 'My 9 Games; The 9 Games That Shaped Who I am'. Below are box arts of the following games;
-The Legend of Zelda (NES)
-Dragon Warrior (NES)
-Mega Man 3 (NES)
-Lufia II; Rise of the SInistrals (SNES)
-Undertale (PC)
-The Secret of Monkey Island (PC)
-Chrono Trigger (SNES)
-The 7th Guest (PC)

Just got back from my trip yesterday, want to see if I can spend the rest of my vacation getting some art done (he claims doomingly) Gotta wonder what Dr. Light was thinking with this upgrade though

Art of MegaMan imposed on top of the weapon get screen from Mega Man III. Mega Man is in an inverted white and blue color scheme, with his lower armor altered to look like a disposable diaper. He has a bashful look on his face as he looks down at it. Next to him in a pixelated font is the text "Get Equipped With Leak Guard"

Been poking at Dragon Hopper on the Virtual Boy NSO. It's hard to tell when I miss a jump and I end up dropping several levels if that sinking-pit-in-the-stomach feeling is from progress lost or the rather the perspective of WATCHING yourself fall several stories (with the aid of depth perception)

It stuck to the original Zelda's design ethos to a fault, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with this one. The character design function was certainly the highlight and I even taken a few character design commissions on DeviantArt back in the day. (This was also the sole PS3 game disc I bought)
