Garbage like this is how we wound up with trump. Well done. Reporting. Blocking.

Given Colbert's track record with women candidates, that's likely the morivation.

As usual, Colbert backs a white male. And this is a guy who has attacked Biden's economic record while economists praise it. He's also an extremely religious Christian and doesn't seem capable of separating that from service in public office. I think we're being had. Again. Crockett is best.

He immediately announced the tariffs will continue using different laws as legal basis. Court clock just started all over again unless Roberts handles expedited suits through the shadow docket.

As if he had the legal power to do this. I feel for his family. What an embarrassment.

Yes, should. Tgat they didn't does not legally become our burden. The tens of millions who didn't bother to vote can get off their duffs to resist and vote.

...because the burden of proof is on the accuser. They should have compiled evidence, presented it, and gotten a warrant.

I noticed how Kamala, Barack, and Hakeem all posted about Small Business Saturday while Bernie and AOC didn’t. The anti-capitalists don’t actually fight big capitalism and support Small Business and this is why Black people will NEVER wholly support that sham movement

Murphy is my Sebator and is great, but not correct: the infamous tattoo represents an abject moral failure. Not the only problem either: used an anti- gay slur, said all rural white farmers are stupid and racist, posts racist, misogynistic, pro-communusm, and Bernie Sanders supports him - nope.

He harmed himself when he called gay people by a slur, when he got that tattoo, etc., etc. If you exhibit the behavior of a Nazi, that's what you are.

We teach civics and social studies: my state requires both to graduate from high school. But then, we send them back to parents/communities saying everything they learned was a lie. One class period a day vs the rest of the time with parents they trust, communities they call home.

The state should have sent alerts to phones, etc. They wanted until four hours after the NWS warnings
030 3
teachinglibrarian.bsky.social @teachinglibrarian.bsky.social · 06/07/2025
NWS did issue warnings. Srate officials didn't then follow through and activate alert systems for over **four hours** after that.

...and from those who always expect someone else to come save them rather than taking responsibility. Their "expectations" always apply to others ( who, of course must be perfect in every way or are demons - not just humans doing their best despite the lack of support).

Try a quick Google search: bernie sanders had support from the NRA in his first election in vermont. Long queue if I teresting articles. Most people seem not to realize he has a long, complicated relationship with the NRA - with ugly results.

He did do that while a representative. He's not a Democrat. He's not really progressive in the older sense - more like the new " progressive" spawned by folks like Sanders.

Voted with the GOP to refuse to criminalize ghost guns. Voted against banning revenge porn. Voted against giving transit workers equal protection against assault. Etc. Specific enough for you?

I wouldn't want to vote for Cuomo, but I also can't vote for this person who voted ( with the GOP) against criminalizing ghost guns and voted against banning revenge porn. These two are the best NY can do? Sad.

I rarely post personal things. But I need to talk about my 4-year-old niece, Hope. She has a rare disease. A drug called elamipretide has helped her survive. But the FDA recently denied its approval. Now, her health hangs in the balance. Please share her story & urge the FDA to reconsider. 🧵

I think she should check her facts. Her claim that Pelosi could have managed this ignores that Pelimosi had a Democratic Senate majority so more leverage that no Democrat has now. And she clearly doesn't understand House procedures or minimizing damage ( even if invisible on the surface)

Infants can literally just stop breathing and die with no warning from “whooping cough” (pertussis) infection. They do not necessarily even get the infamous cough that older children and adults get (and can be severe enough to break ribs). Do not let unvaccinated people around your newborns (or you)

Really? Murphy isn't responding? Jeffries? Booker? Etc. Etc. Etc. Perhaps focus on the GOP - and the millions who couldn't bother to vote. Maybe they can summon the energy to participate in the midterms so we can regain a majority in congress - not continue to fail to respond as citizens.
