Strikers at Islington 6th Form college. Educators working in non-academised sixth form colleges have been on strike calling on Government to ensure they receive an above-inflation pay award consistent with the rest of the profession. Further strikes on 3 and 4 December. @neunion.bsky.social

Ridiculous BBC headline: "Public sector pay deals help drive up UK borrowing". Nothing to do with corporate welfare, contracts for cronies, Govt paying higher energy bills, HMRC not collecting £500bn since 2010, Tory legacy. Just blame workers wanting decent pay. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Borrowing was £17.4bn last month, the second highest October figure since monthly records began in 1993.

If you bring central London to a halt in order to campaign against catastrophic climate change then you're a "barmy" eco "fanatic" who deserves to be locked up. If you do the same to hang on to your multimillion pound inheritance tax exemption then you're a brave freedom fighter defying the odds

#Inequality It's fairly safe to say that many of the world's problems can be traced back to one major issue: inequality.

Why do 70,000 'farmers' think they should own 90% of the UK forever and never pay tax. While the other 68,930,000 have the other 10% to share and must pay tax. The ultimate elitist BS.

This is a ridiculous article, downplaying legitimate concerns. The piece does not mention Streeting’s extensive donations from those associated with the private health sector🚨 👉https://theguardian.com/business/2024/nov/16/streetings-reforms-could-save-the-nhs-from-the-private-sector-he-must-not-fail
