Meet Sarah. After 33 years of teaching, she chose Phased Retirement to reduce her hours while taking part of her pension. She now teaches two days a week, giving her more flexibility while staying connected to the profession and her students. To prepare, Sarah used the resources available on the Teachers' Pensions website, spoke with her employer, and discussed her options with Teachers' Pensions and a Financial Adviser. Sarah says she still loves teaching and gets a real buzz from it.
