2 weeks ago I said I was off for a 270k madness run in the desert... well, all done and back, hardest thing I have ever done but a genuine experience of a lifetime. I'm not quite sure what to do with myself now!! #mds #mdslegendary #ultrarunning #Sahara #running

So... Tomorrow my descent into madness is complete as I head to Morocco to spend a week running, & probably walking & crawling, across the Sahara in the marathon des sables... Hopefully it all goes ok bit either way it's a week off of my various rambles & rants! #sahara #marathondessables #marathon

@thenewsagents.co.uk it's completely obvious what's going on. I don't think Trump gives a toss about anything other than money. I don't think he's scared, he lives in a lunatic bubble, this is all about massaging markets for his own end...

tea-drummer.bsky.social @tea-drummer.bsky.social · 23/03/2026

Latest moronic missives from Trump... He makes a statement saying he has had talks to stop his bombing, which Iran deny... Market drops, Trumpy's mates buy. In a few hours there will be another one saying things are bad, markets raise and mates sell! It's pure manipulation whilst the world looks on.

www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/ck... Seems that he does want other nations to join his war despite the claims it's already 'won'. What a tosser, starts a war with no aim and no planning & is surprised when a people fight back. The Iranian regime is despicable but Trump Camelot cronies are scarily deluded.

Meanwhile, sirens are triggered in Jerusalem as missiles fly overhead. The Israeli military said earlier it had detected new attacks from Iran.

I might be slightly unusual in that I've travelled all over Iran & absolutely loved it. The regime is despicable & no one should mourn its passing if that Happens. But the people are warm & hospitable & deserve the chance to rebuild without being looted by Trump and his 'peace' cronies. Watch out...

Launch a war and stop, deflect from Epstein & stop the mid-terms... It's all just horribly predictable. Never mind Iranian people rising to overthrow their government.. Board of Peace? My arse, what was it Bush said years ago, axis of something. #iran #trump #epstein

What an epic result from Gorton & Denton. Proof that pandering to Reform is not the way to beat them! @labouruk.bsky.social now consign Mcsweeney's non-strategy to the bin & actually focus on progressive change. Start with an EU return! Make reform look the irrelevant scum they are. Or lose again...

Watching the #apprentice I have no idea why as it's awful... It gets said every year but this lot has to be the worst set of 'candidates' ever. Where do they find them??! It's utter dregs TV, not sure what it says that I'm actually watching it... 😂

Brilliant stuff, this needs amplifying, Minneapolis could be any city in the US o the world if different parties have their way - that's Reform & the Tories here. Hearing someone with a platform prepared to stand up & call out the nightmare is great. We all need to wake up @brucespringsteen.net

BBC News - Ex-Tory Home Secretary Suella Braverman defects to Reform UK www.bbc.co.uk/news/article... Another one!! It's always the nicest, most empathetic, talented ones isn't it!!? Absolute wankers, wtf is #reform ? It's like a care home for the worst tories ever! People must see through this!

Could it possibly be that Zahawi is a bit of an opportunist!!?! Got to keep those stables heated somehow. These people have zero integrity, but bring it in, Reform is turning into a care home for departed Tories. They were complete w@nkers then, nothing has changed!

Truly epic night in Brixton last night. What a band, I've been boring friends etc about how the Last Dinner Party are the best British band to emerge in the last 20 odd years. Last night confirmed it, they won't play venues this small again, absolutely brilliant! @thelastdinnerparty.bsky.social

Today I think @teamlabouruk.bsky.social has written it's own end. The policy is a disgrace & won't work. Reform voters are not going back to vote for a cosplay Reform. Many of us on the left will not support this or vote for them again. Starmers legacy will v likely be a Reform govt, absolute horror

Three days in Scotland, 30 different whiskies sampled & the first snow of the year!! Now back home & in need of a bit of a lie down... Scotland is always stunning & wild!

Found this old picture of me & friends leaving Southampton station for an anti criminal justice act protest. This must have been '94, days when getting out on the streets etc could force changes. It didn't this time, but it feels like a world past given what is going on in Washington today...

The world has gone mad, I have now had it confirmed... There are people on X, largely on the right, losing their minds over... Universal phone chargers!! Wtf! Does anyone really care? I like the idea of one charger for everything. Or am I wrong?!?

The Wonderstuff yesterday night, epic as ever...! Every significant life event over v nearly the last 40 years is marked by a song or album, and can't see it changing. Blimey though, I have been wrecked today! 16 year old me is having a right laugh at me now!!!

000

tea-drummer.bsky.social @tea-drummer.bsky.social · 16/12/2024

The state of X / twitter today! You'd think there had been some kind of coup in merger councils & outrage as someone is not banged up for a milk based assignation attempt. This place feels like r&r behind the lines before going back in to do battle! Think I might just stay here!!!

Watching all the 'patriots' lose their minds over a Christmas tree is bizarre! Given it's a gift from Norway and has been decorated in the same way for 3/4s of a century, for a group obsessed with, a largely invented, past there is a total lack of historical knowledge!! All a bit depressing...

Blimey storm Darragh has turned me into a complete sofa potato... I can't remember the last time I've done nothing all day. Not all bad though, I've binged the first 5 Cure albums, can't believe they are 40 plus years old! Pub later... Might require a rescue squad later!!
