In all fairness my main mode of choice as a kid was marathon/endless, but it’s too long for me these days. A run of TGM usually tops out around 10 minutes which given how much I impulse reset on 40L was only maybe like 2 or 3 runs of that anyways lol

I did 40L on tetrio on and off for a few years but I hit a wall around 1:10. Truthfully I feel like flowstate and the rush of downstacking a really shit board are maybe the main draws for me and you don’t really get that in sprint, it’s too reset heavy. Having much more fun playing something TGM-y

full disclosure i don't even use streaming myself lol. I just would like it if people listened to the music i made, and unfortunately if you want that to be more than like 20 people, you have to deal with distributors (who are, seemingly, unanimously awful)

imagine if you're a visual artist, right. but you can't just post your images online. you have to pay a middleman who is an "image distributor" to actually upload them to the sites people use. because people refuse to look at your images if they're not on the site they use for images

i make maybe $100 a month which Seems really huge and it is respectable compared to most indep artists but also min wage in my state makes that in ~6 hours. its a little funny to me how much non musicians overestimate the money, ive seen people think i “made it” because ive played a couple shows lol

there's some great work being done in the experimental scene, films like Rukus/art shows like I Love Furry. but the closer to the surface you get the more you find "its just cosplay and the 18+ side is negligible". which leaves furry wiiide open to freakshow/exposé docs like the one going around rn
