Caprese was totally flabbergasted. Sometimes, when everything gets too overwhelming, I just shut myself off. I ignore the calls, let the messages sit unread, and retreat to a place where I can just be alone. It’s not about running away from anyone – it’s about giving myself space to breathe. There’s a strange comfort in stepping back from the world, letting myself sit in the quiet, and just feeling whatever I need to feel without explaining it to anyone.
