Trump admin wouldn't be nearly as dangerous as it is if not for Obama who expanded executive power (and who never even tried to roll back Bush/Cheney expansions of power). Same w Biden who never pushed back on Trump.1 expansions.

Defund and abolish ICE. Melt down their weapons and shift its budget to social services and affordable housing. Ban everyone who led or worked for ICE from any government job. Corporate death penalty for the companies that aided them. Citizenship to all of its victims, should they want it.

The death penalty, however it's carried out, is barbaric. Maybe carrying it out in public will highlight the barbarism and turn public opinion against it. But then a lot of U.S. Americans appear to have no problem with barbarism.

I can predict the future with a high degree of accuracy-- just not very far into the future.

If you want to fight fascism, it’d be good for you to get comfortable with people using a diversity of tactics. Lend your shoulder to the wheel where you can and try to avoid criticizing people who are doing it differently.

I can't predict the future, but I can learn from the past. That's a heck of a lot more than a lot of people seem to do.

U.S. Americans learned a lot of lessons on this date 25 years ago. I'm saddened one of the wasn't this: Politically-inspired violent attacks on a country hurt innocent people.
