A couple of days ago, Time Magazine did an interview with Donald Trump. Later, they did some fact checking...it was needed. To me, he comes across as a stereotypical NYC mobster. A contemporary of John Gotti...but without the charisma.

With the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks coming up, I remember the mood of the country afterwards. Naturally, sadness, but with a cry for revenge against those responsible. Which is why I worry about Iranian retaliation for US bombing of schools. People are people, are they not?

Today is primary day, and I hate mail in ballots for a different reason than Trump does. I live in Florida, where it rains a lot in summer. The rain can sometimes seep into my mailbox and soak the letters, pre-sealing my mail-in ballot. So, it's off to my local precinct to vote.

I'm a fan of the departed show "Castle". Episode 12 of season 3 (2011) involved a wealthy guy, in trouble with the SEC, who faked his own death. A confederate snuck a dummy onto a plane, and took the bad guy off, before it exploded over the ocean. They used a catering truck to make the transfer.

I've seen the "conventional wisdom" evolve, if not be overturned. It was said America would never support a candidate who was black, divorced, a b-list celebrity or a convicted felon. It appears you can add "foreign sounding name" to that list. Good! We seem to be evolving.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is taking the 5th Amendment, in response to questions from Florida Senator Rick Scott. Scott oversaw what was, at the time, the largest Medicare fraud in history. His company had to pay $1.7 billion, and he himself pled the 5th amendment 75 times. Comical farce on The Hill.

I tuned in MS NOW in anticipation of seeing Stephanie Ruhle. Instead, I see what looks like an old guy arguing with the staff of his assisted living facility. The same show is on CNN. The sad thing is, it will likely be newsworthy...and I hate that!

Trump confuses Iran and Ukraine, so he's probably confusing the terms "86" and "deep six". His reference to "mobster talk" makes sense, as "deep six" goes back to organized crime of the 1920's. Moe Green can 86 Fredo from the casino, but only Michael can deep 6 him.

So I hear James Comey has been indicted for threating Trump. Why? Because, nearly a year ago, he posted a picture of seashells spelling out "86-47". A Grand Jury in North Carolina apparently considered that a death threat. Two questions; why, and why North Carolina?
