The youngest son and I found a recipe for a Nestle Quick copycat. He thought the final product was worthy to keep On a side note, if you swap the ratios for sugar and unsweetened cocoa you get a dark chocolate version.

When you mentioned the "trophy room" in Locked In I laughed for a good five minutes; every time I started to read again I'd giggle. Wil's delivery was exceptional as well and it may be the audiobook which cemented him as one of my two favorite narrators.

Even better than the microwave popper! This whirlypop is about 10 years old and is used weekly, sometimes daily; the last one the gear on the top ended up stripped when my then proto-teen tried to force it to spin when full. 😂 I use 3 tablespoons of oil for 1/2 cup of the good stuff (pictured).

My kittens (well, two out of three) are taking turns through the night snuggling up next to me so I can't move without disturbing them. Binx (passed in Dec 2025) used to do the same thing. I suspect he is instructing them from the aether on all the fun stuff to tease me with. (Binx)
