A scary number of the requests we receive comes from trans individuals who are fleeing a hostile environment or situation. Many times, we have to wait for funders to donate before we can assist these requests. Help us to get to $10K! tcfcf.org

It's important to recognize the intersectionality of trans identities. We strive to uplift and support trans individuals who face additional marginalization due to their race, ethnicity, disability, or other identities. Donate to support us: www.tcfcf.org

Now is the time to support trans folks who are being denied access to basic needs offered by secular organizations & the very government that has instated anti-trans laws that now threatens the lives of trans people. Support us here: www.tcfcf.org

As anti-LGBTQ school policies continue to be introduced across the U.S., having affirming teachers & school environments can make a life-saving impact on the mental well-being of LGBTQ students. To teachers who are creating safe spaces for LGBTQ youth, we are grateful for you 💜💙🩷

What we learned ⬇️ 📚 School counselors are important sources of info about LGBTQ identities & issues 📈 LGBTQ students of color are less likely to feel their teachers care about them 📓Learning about LGBTQ identities from teachers was associated with lower odds of depression
