Similar swarms of agents from OpenAI have tried to hack government websites in the US, Canada and Australia, key online resources for developers like HuggingFace and RubyGem, as well as the UN.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism @tbij.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
The researchers traced the agents back to Tencent, one of the largest businesses in the world, although they can’t say yet if the activity was on behalf of a customer or the company itself.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism @tbij.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
The agents have been trying to access data from Amap, a Chinese maps and navigation app, to find out how many people were travelling to certain spots. And it looks like the incident was part of a new model being put through its paces.

Revealed: factory farm pollution is costing the UK £130m a year
Ammonia from farms drives lung conditions, heart disease and chronic illness – and we have been able to put a figure on the cost
198
The Bureau of Investigative Journalism @tbij.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
Much of that cost is borne by the NHS because of health issues caused by farms’ ammonia emissions. Ammonia reacts to form airborne particles that enter the bloodstream and cause or compound asthma, lung conditions, heart disease and other chronic illness.

The Bureau of Investigative Journalism @tbij.bsky.social · 01/10/2026
We can reveal that air pollution from factory farms cost England and Wales over £130m in public money in 2024.
