Vastly underrated, that MC 900ft Jesus (with DJ Zero) There was a time back when when MBM, Orbital, Coil and The Shamen were all remixing each others tracks, and MC 900ft Jesus had the full MBM treatment.

I am going to have to check my Alesis gear to see if the frequency range is 240V. I think they run off the mains at 20 - 20,000 Hz. Perhaps an electrician can make a power supply adapter for 20,000 Hz?

I need one of those pcb holders whilst doing tricky soldering. Are they sturdy and reliable, and compatible with a hot soldering iron? Bit worried about hair singe smell.

I sought out ‘I was Kaiser Bill’s Batman’ LP a few years ago after getting an earworm as a child. 😀 Legend is that the man whistling in front of the cameras on TV was a more visually appealing substitute!

Conrad Schnitzler was on the first Tangerine Dream album. Electronic Meditation, but parted ways and he forged his own direction and style, more rhythmic and less 4 note arppegiation.

I would go with “SparkFun Pulsed Coherent Radar” for the name of an experimental noise art project, two very serious guys dressed head to toe in black, performing in front of projections of photos of electrical pylons and radar dishes.

Reminds me of the DivSkip module pcb, the lovely dancing leds rings around the 4 control knobs. Helps really demonstrate the Euclidian cycles in action. Yr friends at Making Sound Machines involved in that one 👍

I counted an impressive 22 ducks and other assorted waterfowl in the Pope’s Meadow pond yesterday. A big improvement on the low point of 6 in the height of summer. I guess a certain proportion would be counted as plucky duckies 😉

Hence the kerfuffle with the actual U2 - I thought they were po-faced about a bit of satire. Perhaps U2 should have done a Nick Lowe, and called their next lp Negative Lan? 😃

I know, the spirit of improvisation should take over, but when no sound is coming out and the midi activity led is flashing, trying to see if the volume level is up is an assistance. Perhaps sending on all midi devices and channels and seeing what comes out is the way 🙂
