Currently listening to Cher's autobiography "Cher: The Memoir." She narrates about half saying in the intro that she's very dyslexic so reading isn't her strong suit and has someone else read some sections. But OMG did she and her mother ever grow up dirt poor! I had no idea. She overcame adversity.

Gotta get myself to the Fullerton Train Museum sooner than later. Haven't been in ages. I love trains. How many trains are there at Disneyland? A fair number to be sure. Rode the White Pass & Yukon Route Railway in Alaska over the summer. Great views! wpyr.com/excursions/

Back in the 90's, Ames had an open house. Got to see the ginormous wind tunnel from the observation room. Just absolutely jaw droppingly huge. Can fit a whole big airplane in there, not just a wing. Did I mention it was big?

As a HUGE Steve Martin fan, in the ‘late 70s, sat next to him at a tennis tourny. Told him I loved his book Cruel Shoes. He got up and moved. Sent him a couple pages of jokes in the early ‘80s and he actually used one. I’m making progress.
