Tavern’s best new ads are jingles, and jingles are taking over. We’re working with Proximo to deliver a message about DC failing families on costs, health care and taxes. These are airing across platforms right now. And the genre matches what the voters actually listen to.

We’re so fired up for permitting reform and BAAJA that we put our jingle tech into overdrive and now we can make singles too. Read more about what we're cooking up: tavernresearch.substack.com/p/our-best-n...

Our Best New Ad Is a Jingle
We’ve written before that the overwhelming majority of an ad’s persuasion happens through the audio that the listener hears.

Introducing “Make Em Pay” the pop-punk anthem that accurately describes the novel ratepayer protections holding data center developers accountable in the BAAJA permitting reform bill.

We’re so fired up for permitting reform and BAJAA that we put this tech on overdrive. The jingles pipeline can now make singles too. And voters can learn about lowering energy costs with this earworm. Check it out.

Do jingles actually persuade voters? Yes they do. We ran a randomized experiment with 10,746 voters. Our jingle beat the other types of ads we showed, and it wasn't even close. Watch one here ⬇️

Read more about our jingles here. We're serving them up in genres specific to each voter’s preferences. Listen to a lot of country music? You’ll get the country version. Big pop fan? You’ll get the pop version. tavernresearch.substack.com/p/our-best-n...

Presenting Tavern's newest ads: Jingles. We know audio persuades, so we built these to deliver a campaign's core message in a voter's favorite genre, exactly where they already are. 10,000 trials later, we know they work. And they're already live. Listen here

If you're making 5 ads, you can focus group or test them all. If you're making thousands, evaluation is the bottleneck. That's the problem AI has created, and it's why we built Delphi. Delphi uses tens of thousands of tests to evaluate ads find the most persuasive. Becasue better ads win.

We Hid a Political Ad Inside a Trivia Quiz

We hid a political ad inside a trivia quiz. The most expensive ad is the one voters skip, so we build ads voters watch. Our new format uses a familiar sequence: question, prediction, countdown, reveal, to earn attention before delivering the campaign messaging. Check it out.

How Many Times Should Your Ad Say the Candidate's Name?
Sometimes big insights aren’t sexy

How many times should your ad say the candidate's name? A simple question, but a big one. We tested one to seven name mentions on 10,000 voters, and the answer is three to five: enough that nobody forgets who the ad was about, with every remaining second spent on message.

How many times should your ad say the candidate's name? We ran experiments on 10,000 voters to find out, using our candidates names everywhere from 1 to 7 times in 30 seconds. The answer is 3 - 5 times: enough that nobody forgets who the ad was about, with every remaining second spent on message.
