panel 1: characters are only heard and arent yet visible in the frame
sam: bianca that tickles!
bianca: i prommy im almost done, youre sooooo pretty!
(it can be assumed that bianca is doing something 🤨to sam)

panel2:
closeup of bianca looking down and tapping a makeup brush against her lip as she contemplates
“somethings missing though”, she says outloud and then proceeds to think that a kiss mark on sam’s cheek would totally complete the look

panel 3:
gorgeous closeup of sam with glittery makeup done by bianca, she is laying on her back and the pov is from bianca
she replies with “really?”

panel4: closeup of bianca’s eyes that seem to be twinkling as she blushes, her heartbeat throbbing loudly and she realizes that her thougjgs were a little too gay and wonders if she said her previous gay thought outloud

panel5:
zoom out of the scene that reveals bianca is straddling sam on sam’s bed
bianca freaks out and immidiately corrects her thougjts by exclaiming that they are missing the camera and nothing else
sam giggles at bianca’s antics and wiggles around underneath her

A well-deserved nap after braving the cold outside 🌬️
Illustration of Mouise the god (OC) taking a big snooze spread out on an armchair. A comic book, a cup of tea and a barely touched slice of cinnamon pie lie at the foot of the seat.
We see a window in the background, as well as a poster, fairy lights and a plant that hasn't been watered for a very long time.

I can’t remember which Blueskyer remined me that staircases are liminal, like bridges and crossroads, and therefore favourable for hauntings. There are many #haunted examples – such as the one where the famous Brown Lady of Raynham, #Norfolk, was maybe photographed in the 1930s. [More #SpookySunday

A lovely article on a phenomenal film that's been a constant source of inspiration throughout my entire life! ❤️ There's a loneliness that comes with working on an original project that's conveyed incredibly well here, as well as the importance of inspiration & education alongside the production.

Now I’m wondering where the ghostbusters proton pack cyclotron appears on the chart. (Random fact, the prop was modelled from an actual cyclotron found in the nose cone of an old WWII aircraft, I saw one at an air museum a few years ago & it blew my mind slightly that it was actually a real thing).

Documented in 1974 during the filming of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (Gojira tai Mekagojira), this candid snapshot marks the 20th anniversary of Toho's iconic Godzilla franchise.
Captured in a stark monochrome studio photograph, the looming suit of Mechagodzilla stands in gentle juxtaposition beside a mother holding her child and two young girls visiting the set. On the left, the mechanical monster boasts riveted metallic plating, angular dorsal fins, and a jagged, open jaw, while overhead studio scaffolding and stage rigging expose the physical mechanics of the Toho film lot. Standing in serene contrast to the imposing suit, the visiting family poses calmly in classic 1970s winter attire, their quiet expressions bridging the gap between cinematic fantasy and domestic warmth. The image evokes an intimate sensory atmosphere: the scent of molded rubber, freshly sprayed paint, and warm incandescent studio lamps, the subtle hum of stage rigging, and the gentle hush that settles over a busy film set between takes.
Documented in 1974 during the filming of Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla (Gojira tai Mekagojira), this candid snapshot marks the 20th anniversary of Toho's iconic Godzilla franchise. Directed by Jun Fukuda with special effects supervised by Teruyoshi Nakano, the film introduced Mechagodzilla—conceived by designer Akihiko Iguchi—as one of Godzilla's most enduring and formidable antagonists. Built by master artisans at Kaikai Productions and brought to life by suit actor Kazunari Mori, the Mechagodzilla suit represents a high watermark of Japanese tokusatsu (special effects) and suitmation art. Decades before digital CGI transformed special effects cinema, Japanese filmmaking relied upon hand-sculpted suits, miniature cityscapes, and practical suitcraft, standing as a triumphant manifestation of monozukuri (artisanal mastery and material ingenuity) in 20th-century pop culture history.

Onsen (natural hot spring) bathing holds a sacred place in Japanese culture, originating as ancient Shinto purification rituals (misogi) and evolving into the traditional practice of tōji—hot spring retreats for physical healing and spiritual rejuvenation.
Framed by a wide, open-air timber portal, an emerald thermal bath rests in perfect stillness, its mirror-like surface echoing the vibrant, rain-kissed green canopy of the forest beyond. A carved stone spout steadily channels clear, mineral-rich spring water into the pool, sending delicate ripples across the reflected foliage, while soft paper lanterns (andon) flank the bath with a warm, golden glow. Outside on the wooden veranda, a solitary reclining chair sits perched above the woodland floor. The scene invokes a deeply immersive sensory atmosphere: the soothing warmth of mineral waters, the gentle aroma of wet cedar and mountain earth, the soft murmur of trickling water, and the crisp, refreshing air of an untouched forest ravine.

Onsen (natural hot spring) bathing holds a sacred place in Japanese culture, originating as ancient Shinto purification rituals (misogi) and evolving into the traditional practice of tōji—hot spring retreats for physical healing and spiritual rejuvenation. In traditional ryokan (inns), open-air baths (rotenburo) are designed to harmonize human sanctuary with untamed nature. This architectural integration exemplifies the principles of Japanese monozukuri (artisanal mastery and material craft), utilizing natural materials such as hinoki (Japanese cypress), slate, and untreated timber that age gracefully alongside the surrounding landscape. Every angle is meticulously calculated to preserve the natural contours of the environment while offering bathers an unobstructed, meditative encounter with the changing seasons.

“Kirin ga Kuru” is a 2020 Japanese historical drama television series starring Hiroki Hasegawa as Akechi Mitsuhide, a samurai and general during the Sengoku period.
Framed in an unyielding, monochrome close-up, the face of a Sengoku general emerges from deep shadow, smeared with soot, sweat, and the grime of battle. His wide, unblinking eyes burn with an intense, haunting gaze that fixes directly upon the viewer, conveying a mixture of fierce resolve and tragic weariness. At the base of the composition, the dark, metallic plates of his armor catch sharp highlights of directional light, grounding the portrait in martial weight. Stark, calligraphic white brushstrokes slice vertically across the lower center, creating a dramatic textural contrast between the raw, tactile human countenance, cold steel, and the ink-black void.
Created as the primary promotional portrait for NHK’s 59th annual Taiga drama, Kirin ga Kuru (2020), this photograph depicts actor Hiroki Hasegawa as the historical samurai general Akechi Mitsuhide (c. 1528–1582). Reinterpreting one of the most enigmatic figures of Japan’s Sengoku (Warring States) period, the narrative follows Mitsuhide’s search for order during an era of ceaseless civil war, culminating in the fateful Honnō-ji Incident of 1582. The title invokes the mythical Kirin (Qilin)—a legendary chimerical beast said to appear on earth only when a wise and compassionate ruler brings peace to a war-torn realm.
