I got a personal duo who were made in my games. My Warlock and scholar. They both let me voice out aspects and thoughts and they make a comedic duo when the right subject comes out.

Blood Elf Warlock named Arkaire teasing a Lalafell scholar named Altara. This is a WoW x FF14 art peice

Blood elf warlock asking Lalafell scholar about Mod drama. Reaction says all.

That said I'm still sour over what happened on DeviantArt. I need to find a brand new spot (outside tumblr/bluesky/my own website) to post again. Gonna try Cara given all things.

I've been in the slow process of cleaning up my storage items on deviant art (Gonna be fully removing items, but I'm dating them as i download/archive them in an external) Most of the items are old art and commissions from High school and the past. I might post a few here for funnies.

BTW I am still looking to get onto #Vgen so if anyone wants to help me get a code to also offer commissions on that website I'd appreciate it.

I don't have a lot of character icon samples, but here are other art pieces to get an idea of my range. I'm also very open to all sorts of characters as I want to grow my art skills range. So Don't be shy if you got anything like Mecha|Robotics/Monsters/etc.

Character Icon test time with my Fan gen Cocoa Alter. Overall happy with making some personal art. If anyone knows "Fan" language you can get an idea of what she's signaling. #taurusrcart #engelbaum

A Fan gen named Alter (Fan character from the online comic "Engelbaum") Her color is Cocoa with Orange accents. She is observing the viewer while pressing her closed fans to her lips. A silent signal to people to come talk to her.

Second Revenge for @Jasbell on Artfight. This is her #Toon Candy getting ready to "paint the town red". Literally

My #Artfight2026 pieces. I only had so much time this year, so I focused on revenges instead. It was fun and I thank everyone for drawing my Selph this year. I'll make a chain post for these.

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Hey all a bit delayed but I'll be doing #artfight #artifght2026 this month as a little treat for me since I've been MIA with my large project and want to draw other things. I'll be posting my finished attacks/revenges later on. o7

Before anyone asks. No I do not run a discord for my artwork. Given discords current climate and with their own age verification/data leaks nonsense I wouldn't trust them either.

I also have a carrd website as well so you can keep an eye out there as well in case. (Going though updates still) taurusrcdesigns.carrd.co

I can't say I feel comfortable with this website/app. If this verification thing comes back because of the state I'm in? I'm not going to be using this website anymore. (If I can still post here in the meantime I will but i make no promises)

120

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

This has really soured my mood in all honesty. I've been working to grow my social media and I even have had stuff prepped to show on here. But if this type of nonsense comes back up again (even though this website literally has my birth year in information)...

120

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 01/07/2026

So today I was locked out for 2 hours. Was part of the group of TX user's who got hit with this. Wasn't able to post upload or look at stuff.

Still I'm excited and I've learned a lot from this new commission. I might be more opened to offering this type of serve to the public. For now? I'll be more active on social media and hopefully post other art up soon!

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

Hello all, sorry I've been quiet here. But I've begun the process of preparing the last details of my long commission. I won't be able to debut it until i receive the big "OK" from the client.

👥🪞Quote with your art that has stars! 🌟✨️

This one is inspired by another of Peter Birkhäuser painting, Puer. It's been fun studying his style of work. I've also been working to paint a few of my own dreams down for the record. When I get more free time 'd like to render them a bit better to post.

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Dreamer and Selph Past the dreams and into the nocturnal and unconscious you'll find the Self. A re-imagining of my Dreamer meeting Selph. #nightsintodreams #selph

A Dreamer slowly arriving in the depths of their dreams. Their courage (Red Ideya) guiding them. The Selph is already there waiting for them. This is a meeting of the conscious and the unconscious.

With Vectors, they are scalable compared to raster|bitmap or pixel art as their meant to be smooth to shrink or grow depending on what type of graphic you need. It's why a lot of the time graphic designs pick up vector art skills.

000

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 19/03/2026

As for Canvas sizes? It's going to depend on what your making. If your doing basic illustrations they use the same basic canvas sizes, if your say making emotes? You could just a standard emote size and export it or adjust canvas size.

They are pretty easy, it has the same function as the ye old adobe stuff. Just need to use the vector layer option Vector is pretty easy to learn since it's creating shapes/anchors and tweaking them. It seems actually smoother in some regards.

Current Sketch Commission's are closed for the time being. I've been commissioned to work on a larger project :) So my time will be dedicated to that!

Same here, it's just trying to figure out which version Linux is going to meet the needs. Especially for art/graphic design for work but I also want it to be able to handle streaming/gaming.

Sometimes it's just about stepping back, reevaluating yourself, your situation and what you can do to get to where you want to be in life for your self.

020

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

You don't have to hold onto the "illustrator" persona to be a creative artist to express it. There are many way's to be creative, even if it's not a visual one.

110

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

Whether you choose to fully drop art or leave it alone for a time to pick it back up later will ultimately be your decision. I find your art impressive, but I also don't feel like you should try to hold yourself to something that makes you unhappy either.

110

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

If drawing is no longer the "creativity" that speaks to you or your soul, and you feel like you're unhappy with it? You should find a different way of creating that DOES speaks to you.

120

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 19/02/2026

Based on the current responses I've seen here to your question and your own responses, I think it would be best to stop forcing yourself into art.

110

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

Thank you for drawing my Selph. Yours looks adorably nightmarish! ✨

010

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 18/02/2026

You actually got my Selph's facial response right. I had done a silly alt expression of Selph before going with the actual fully opened eyes before painting. What a happy coincidence!

Undersketch of my fan version of Selph-Alternative expression

120

TaurusRC @taurusrc.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

That's more than fine! Everyone's Selph is a personal expression of their creativity, and I feel honored you'd like the design enough to draw it alongside yours.
