I never finished it because the bookshop only had Vol. 1 and 2 back then. It's so hard to find now.

I completely forgot he was supposed to be missing an arm when I drew him, I guess to think before he lost it. Will make character updates in the future.

It's a UE5 game tho. That color picker is UE's UI. My guess is all materials is PBR BSDF, they're all GGX, not Blinn-Phong.

Another weekend drawpile artwork with friends. Magma's brushes and features are a little lacking. Might refine them later on

I... didn't notice the accidental airbrush eraser at the end of the video replay. Must be mis-clicking when exporting stuff.

And also, I made another comic-style shader variation.

Spend the weekend exploring hybrid stylized shaders that work with the environment HDRI, but have to look good with only 1 light source. #b3d

Retopoflow is mandatory in my opinion. Although Blender's built-in one is a good start, Retopoflow toolsets are way ahead vanilla Blender's offering. For starters, learning how poly face loops support animation deforming really helps. I like Pierrick Picaut's Crimson Ronin course, it's pretty good
