Old back piece needs to get finished.

This piece is over 20 years old. The tattoo artist and I lost contact several years ago. I’ve wanted it finished but feel shitty about going to someone else to finish it off. Just started linework for my sleeve- by Charlie Forbes @ Stone Arch Tattoo (Mpls, MN)

Got a dragons head tatted as a GWYG about 7 years ago.

Found the perfect artist to blend him into an upper arm sleeve & give him some buddies.

Went with a “see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ Haanya mask trio.

It’s my first larger custom piece and i’m so proud of it, and the execution. He absolutely ATE, and paced the elements i wanted perfectly. I love the way he put this together. 10/10, I genuinely can’t stfu about it. Originally posted by 69ingyourgrandma on r/tattoos on October 7th, 2026.

Andrea / Lloret De Mar - Spain /Electric Wizard Tattoo Lloret

My first tattoo, as a 42 year old Aussie guy. Freshly finished and fully healed (5 months later). I have wanted one for 25 years and never been able to decide on what to get. This one was sort of a spur of the moment decision and not what I had originally planned.

It's an abstract self portrait of the things that have influenced my life and the traits within me - music and circuits and geometry and maths and systems and structure. It may not be the most exciting tattoo from other people's perspective, but it is meaningful for me and I love it. No regrets whatsoever.

Its deliberately imperfect in places (broken lines, unfinished circles, etc) to symbolise that life isn't perfect and that the body is an imperfect medium.

I got it while travelling with my oldest son, who was selected to play football for a national team, so it was a meaningful trip and a meaningful piece, executed very well by a talented artist (in my humble opinion).

Keen to hear what people think of it. Originally posted by Anxious_robot on r/tattoos on October 7th, 2026.

What would you call this, extended sleeve? (Fera Obscura, Helsinki)

We've already done 3/4 of the other sleeve too, next step is to do the shoulder on the other side, connect the chest pieces and then we'll move on to the backside perhaps!

You can find my tattoo work at https://instagram.com/feraobscura if you want to see the full concept finished. Originally posted by Blobscura on r/tattoos on October 7th, 2026.

My dad and the tattooed stranger from DEN to NYC - 10/3/26

$I’m hoping it reaches a woman who brought my dad a great deal of comfort this past weekend. I would really love the chance to thank her. My dad is 81. My sister was 42, and I’m 39. For most of our lives, my sister and I lived a country apart. We spoke regularly, though not as often as my dad kept in touch with her. He loved her very much. My sister was a tattoo artist in New York. If you’d like to see some of her work, her Instagram is here: https://www.instagram.com/ash\_tat2/ I also posted one image she drew for me almost 10 years ago. In 2017, she was diagnosed with colon cancer. It was an extremely long battle. Eventually, it spread to her lungs, her ovaries, and other parts of her body. Through all of it, she did her best to stay positive and not let it spoil her life. She had many friends in New York, but sadly, this past weekend, she passed away. My dad managed to get to New York before it happened so he could be with her. And this is where the coincidence begins. He had booked a last-minute flight from Oregon that would take him through Denver and Houston before finally landing at LaGuardia. Altogether, he was going to be traveling for a little over ten hours. When his plane landed in Denver, before anyone was allowed to get off, an airline employee came aboard and called out his name. They asked if he was headed to New York with a stop in Houston. When he confirmed that he was, they told him there was an empty seat on a flight going directly from Denver to New York. But it was leaving soon, and he had twenty minutes to get to the other side of the airport. He made it in time and was pleased to find that the empty seat was on an aisle. As he sat down, the woman beside him looked up, and my dad was shocked. She was wearing a mask, so he couldn’t see her whole face, but everything else about her looked so much like his daughter, the person he was on his way to see. He couldn’t believe it. And as they began talking, it wasn’t just how she looked. He… Originally posted by Strouta on r/tattoos on October 7th, 2026.$
