100%. Neil G's work was meaningful to me and I think it'd be impossible to enjoy it now. Michael Jackson is sort of even harder because the work remains great and you'll just encounter it in public. 💜

Not sure I would like that kind of kink, but maybe this quiz knows me better than I know myself. 😅

Your Result:
Hammer

Whether it's a tack hammer, a piece of pipe casually repurposed into a club, or a wrench swung around like a survival horror guy out of bullets, you are a classic Hammer Gay. You would absolutely love to hear someone's bones crack under the force of your blows, but you are a gentle spirit not predisposed to mischief. Advice: get into the kind of kink where people draw blood. It's a better use of your time than the Internet, and you'd have a better time than you'd think.

I really enjoyed the tv show "So You Think You Can Dance" when it was on, and felt like they were showing some really cool work, but evidently it was officially cancelled this year. 😭

I have to assume this is apropos of something, but no idea what. (The only thing I remember to like about it was the fudge, personally.)

If you haven't read her memoir yet, strong recommend. She's a great writer. 💜

ach, sides of a coin I guess - I can usually snooze on the train home from the office, but never on the way there.

lol this made me think for a minute that I knew the name bc he'd managed the USMNT for a bit, but no, that was a different Jürgen K.

is that who that is?? I know the name but did not know his face. (tragically for my brain, those ads were also heavily featured on twitch for me this year)

I know you don't have great reason to believe this but I'm fairly confident BLS staff are not manipulating the numbers. They can miss because of statistical reasons but they're not captured by doge/etc.

fwiw, +172k in the national jobs count is not strong imo. Barely keeps up with population growth, assuming net migration is still very low.

You should absolutely go sometime if you like Indian food; back when it opened, Tom Sietsema's take was that it was literally world class cooking, and my experience is that that seems right.

Hahaha if I'm being honest it may have been 10 years for me (it's gotta be at least 6, I am sadly no longer a regular at restaurants in this neighborhood)

It's Trans Day of Visibility today. If you're trans and are raising money for something (I don't care what it is), reply to this thread and I will boost you. If you are a cis person, take a look and find someone to support if you can. Everyone give this a share after.

(1) absolutely yes (2) I feel like on top of that, girls are usually conditioned to do this even when their environment isn't specifically abusive to this extent? 🙁

You're right and you should say it. I feel like INXS' "Never Tear Us Apart" can do that too but that might just be me...

I mean that absolutely makes sense too, I had never heard of the book & the wikipedia summary of the story makes it sound like your kind of thing (and mine, requesting it from the library now)

Fyi the headline may be misleading; BLS will still publish the October industry employment estimates along with November data, but it won't be called the Employment Situation report because the household data for October couldn't be collected because of the shutdown.
