We stopped by Kompaan in The Hague to take some updated photos. Jasper and Jeroen started Kompaan in 2012. Rapid growth led to a larger #brewery in a small industrial area and the opening of Thuishaven, their 20-tap tasting room. Kompaan Binnenhaven has brought another 20 taps to the city center.

Aart went from pro jazz saxophonist to founder in 2015 of one of the most exciting craft breweries in Amsterdam. He named it after mythology and fantasy: Walhalla. Founded in 2000 by Roelof and Ilse Visscher, Dutch wine estate Hof van Twente has been producing wines for 25 years! In 2024, their son Mart joined the business. The celebration also marked the opening of the expanded winery and cellar, where they also craft wines for several small Dutch vineyards.

1894 was brewed to celebrate De Brabandere Brewery’s 120th birthday. The brewers were challenged to create a hoppy beer based on Petrus Aged Pale.
