Oh no, yuk! Yeah I never like killing bugs but with infestations like that you just have to

010

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Yeah, I'm ok with the odd house spider but I had a clothes moth infestation in my old place, that wasn't fun.

111

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Same! I'm a little squeamish when it comes to certain larvae, eggs and swarms though

110

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Thanks! All moths are pretty cute

110

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

They'll often spend their whole lives in the safety of their colony, but sometimes particularly brave and determined moths will venture out for the sake of their chosen field and for some adventure. Continuing the insect fairy project bsky.app/profile/tash...

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Moth fairies are typically studious little things. They are quiet and introverted compared to their more flamboyant close relations, the butterfly faeries. They tend to be scientists, artists and philosophers.

Retired queens enjoy higher status and rewards for their service. They also guide new queens and help to govern colonies. Unfortunately they often suffer from fatigue and other health problems.

030

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

However overproduction of these chemicals can effect her health and lifespan and so queens have to be regularly retired and replaced by carefully chosen princesses.

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Continuing the insect fairy concept bsky.app/profile/tash... with a more dramatic and imposing fairy queen The queens would have the most powerful mind altering pheromones. Enabling her to keep her whole colony hidden and safe.

Coloured sketch commission of Furami (fa) enjoying a swim.

She has a mouth open and closed image, blinking and an arm swap for when she's talking. Her wing flap is animated frame by frame.

I don't stream but wanted to try making a little Resi pngtuber anyway. At least I can use this if I ever work up the courage to start. Had some trouble with PNGTubeRemix, but I finally got her moving the way I want. I might still mess with the settings, but for now I'm just glad she's working!

I think you do both really well! Oh and I'll have to check out these artists!

I love the fogginess of this! And I love how much like real media the brushstrokes look. Great painting

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

This one's a busy little worker, the queen and warrior versions of her species are larger and more dramatic looking. I'm also thinking about sub-species more based on moths, butterflies, rhino beetles etc.

050

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

They're based on different insects, mainly bees and mantises for this one. I went for the mantis like body plan as I wanted them to have a pair of little hands free to use tools with. And to subtlety anthropomorphise them while still keeping them a little otherworldly looking.

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 30/06/2026

Having fun with a more biological (but still fantasy) take on fairies. I wanted them to be intelligent insects that could manipulate humans and other animals with pheromones. Causing confusion, memory loss and other effects. They mainly do this to keep themselves safe and hidden.

That was an unintentionally long break. I’ve been messing around with my movink tablet and I’ve been drawing more on that lately. I love it but it’s effected my process a bit. But I’m finally ready to take commissions again!

Saw the new trailer so I had to draw Spyro! This take on him is based on geckos and baby crocs. I think i made the face a little too gremlin-like, but I'm just going to pretend this is what the sheep see before the player charges or flames them.

I'm able to ship to the USA again! I had to increase the cost of shipping a bit, but the tariffs will be pre-paid.

A wee group of angry balaclava and mask-wearing anti-immigration guys tried to stop the good people of Glasgow showing solidarity with migrants and standing up to racism and fascism. Well, the far right are far outnumbered... #RefugeesWelcome #MigrantsWelcome #NeighboursNotStrangers #Glasgow

Photo of a small group of mostly men wearing black, with masks and balaclavas, surrounded by a Police Scotland cordon in the bottom of the photo, in the foreground. In the background, a very large colourful crowd of people with saltires, trade union banners, and hand-made signs in support of migrants and against racism have turned up to gather to show solidarity, and the far right guys were hoping to thwart that. They didn't.

Fucking hell. I don't really know what to say about this, its just bleak that things have been allowed to get this bad.

Murkow in a graveyard. Another mini illustration to go with the rowlet one. Experimented with black and white but decided to go with the colour one.

Mini illustration of a sleepy little rowlet. Might make this into a sticker

Lugia and yveltal are among my fave legendary designs, both being bird dragon things. It was a bit of a challenge trying to make sense of the arm wings.

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 02/05/2026

Will be away, then busy for a while so here's a thing I've been working on. Yveltal vs Lugia. I've been wanting to draw the two weird arm wing, bird dragons together for a while now

Hate to admit it but after a lot of indecision, I've ran out of steam on he fantasy feline project. But here's the pencil drawing for the Nekomata.

Concepts for the next cat on the fantasy feline project, the nekomata! I wanted them to be semi-bipedal but not too anthro. Digital - Clip Studio

Final spread of the Guardian Lion for my fantasy feline project. Though I might mess with the layout and text a bit more if I end up printing it. I think I've decided I'm going to take this project on a traditional direction with some digital help. Which means I'll need to re-do the cat sith again.

Yeah, I still enjoyed it, but there were so many things that could just been better. Not to mention all the bugs it had on launch. Looks like they've put a lot more thought into the environments for wind and waves at least!

Natasha Moore @tashcrow.bsky.social · 27/02/2026

Happy Pokemon day! Cautiously optimistic for wind and waves!
