Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 05/03/2026Our team uses these skills to attach traces to every PR created by agents. Now every PR has more context of what agent & model was used, how we prompted it, and how it arrived at a solution. This adds improves our conversation during review. PR's look like this now: 100

Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 23/02/2026Something like threads but works for pretty much any agent, we support cursor Claude opencode codex and others I’ll have to dig into agent traces further to confirm the second q, I don’t believe the two have overlapping data tbf that said cursor implements agent traces and we support cursor 000
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 23/02/2026and yes we will be providing api's and hooks to do more things with your traces, a lot more along these lines coming soon 000
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 23/02/2026it's not exactly the same, agent-trace is more about tracking ai contributions vs. human contributions. traces.com is a product for storing and sharing traces for open source & teams, gh for your agent conversations if you will really appreciate the question & happy to dig in further 🙏🏽traces.comTracesShare & discover agent traces. 410

Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 23/02/2026Why would I share a Trace? We built Traces to share and learn how we're solving problems with agents. Our team now adds traces.com links to every PR. This new context shows us how problems were approached. Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 26/06/2025damn I totally forgot to reply! I don’t have a preferred pattern for those quite yet tbh, most of my data pipeline is pretty linear and every step depends on the last (ie blocking) for now 010
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 12/06/2025Yeah I agree it has a lot in common :). DSPy lets me keep the deterministic parts as code, and the LLMs handle what they’re best at. IMO using system prompts for specifying what you want, how you want it can lead to sometimes brittle systems that may need change as models evolve. 100
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 11/06/2025This was super cool, thanks for sharing. Answered some big questions for me. I'm wondering if you've heard of DSPy.ai? Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 10/04/2025Being able to have an agents ready for every workflow is one of the the unexpected design benefits of building this as a 'business in a box' But we're not going to build these all ourselves, and the potential here is to turn into an MCP client so you can bring your own agent against your data 110
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 10/04/2025Here's a simple research agent concept we're building in market.dev The landing page, lead gen forms, CRM and a contract library all come built in when you sign up, with agents tied into as many workflows as possible 111
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 28/03/2025Imagine a summarized digest with all the tea - new projects, builders, major releases and more - in the ecosystems you care about. Think "Axios for open source", powered by a data pipeline across 310+ ecosystems. We're building this now, and if you want to try it out, DM or reply below. 020
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 28/03/2025What if it was this easy to stay up to date with all the developer communities you care about? 123
Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 25/03/2025Would be cool to build more stuff tied to Bsky here (open to ideas). We've been toying with the idea of a data driven weekly newsletter around the ecosystems you care about. We're looking for some people to test some of these new concepts, so if you're open to it - reply below or DM! 020

Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 16/03/2025I enjoy working with Next but as a Rails developer I missed being able to see all my app routes in a single file like routes.rb So I created a quick script that I run in dev mode, it's super useful. Tarun Sachdeva @tarunsachdeva.bsky.social · 11/03/2025I think the activation energy required to go into "marketing mode" prevents a lot of builders from showing off their work Might be cool to help them with that. 000

Reposted by Tarun SachdevaBen Vinegar @benv.ca · 03/01/2025I'm fortunate in that I can comfortably volunteer my time to work on OSS right now. But for many OSS devs, volunteerism is not sustainable. That's why earlier this year I backed GitWallet.co. It's a platform that helps OSS devs provide paid services & products derived from their work. Check it out. 0142
