the only good thing about genAI is that it got me to really love seeing bad art, because I know a person put in time and effort, made themselves vulnerable by showing it to others, and is trying to improve. I value that more than anything now

Cartoon meme of Sonic the Hedgehog (from Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog comic book series, Jan 1994) lying down and looking smugly at the camera with a speech bubble that reads:
“I want bad art made slowly by real people
AND I'M NOT KIDDING”

Sometimes you just gotta draw yourself and your blorbos to make yourself feel better(but drawing hoyos designs is a nightmare) Between starting and finishing this I stopped playing both genshin and hsr and then went back to hsr to pull for Phainon #Kafkahsr#Bigchallanges#Arlecchino#genshin

I find it so egregious that Pinterest uses imagery on its site to train GenAi models. Imagery they do not own, and for the most part, is uploaded by third party users without the consent of creators. GenAi industries depend on exploitation to function and it’s gross futurism.com/pinterest-da...
